My father told me that it didn't matter what I majored in because once I had my degree that would open up many doors. That might have been true for his generation. I majored in environmental science and graduated in 81. I was poor for about a decade after graduating. Retired now. Now people seem to care about the environment. Only took 40 years.

It’s so wonderful that you are still so enthusiastic about the world. I was a lot like you: a young woman traveling different countries alone and loving it. I had some things happen while traveling over 4 years ago and It made me fear traveling. However, you having inspired me to grow courage and do those things I loved so much.

I stumbled upon your channel about four years ago, and I absolutely love it! You have the right attitude for You Tube that keep your viewers wanting more. I too live in Vegas and one thing on my bucket list is to explore abandon building or ghost towns but no one has the guts to go with me. This is something I would not do alone because it can be dangerous with all those crazy people out there. I was thinking, you should sell tee shirts with your logo like the other You Tubers. Just a thought! Anyway, you take care and be safe. I look forward to more of your videos.

I like that your not covered in tats and piercings. And no fake boobs. I don’t have anything fake either and no tats. I had a man in Colorsdo tell me I should have a yellow rose tat on my boob. Cause I’m from Texas. I said nope. I’ve lived to be 55 and no tats so not starting now. Thanks! After that I didn’t see him anymore. He decided driving 30 minutes to see me was too much. On his Harley. Lol pooh. I didn’t care. On to the next man. Found a real nice one. I’m a widow. I became a widow at 54. I just lost him to a heart attack a few months ago. Never married but we were together a king tine.

Great stoey about how you got into this! I remeber seeing the episode about the brothel you picture as well as the mine location with long tube like machine. You did one episode once about how you were at a modeling gig and the ranger came by and you were stuck hiding to avoid being busted. I wonder if there are any other stories like that? Love the channel! All the Death Valley shows this past few months have been great!

Interesting story. I retired a few years ago after working in retail for years and started pursuing what I always wanted to do, writing. I also ended up in Vegas where Grandpa babysits for my daughter-in-law.

Hi Wonderhussy. Being self employed is the bomb and so is loving the outdoors. I relate to much of your story because as a musician I needed to be where there was people, but loved wilderness hiking, fishing and other outdoorsy stuff so needed a metro area with outdoors close by. I almost moved to Vegas multiple times and had many peers who did. I did 2 years as a guitarist for Ringling bros ! Life's an adventure.. I haven't gotten wealthy, but the journey has been marvelous !
I would say that art degree has gotten you your best life and was great advice that you were smart enough to listen to. Never underestimate the power of following your heart. My husband always says that creativity is hugely rewarded in this society.

I grew up in Vegas, graduated HS, Sunset Night school and started my family there. Lived in Reno for a few yrs after HS.
It's so different now and you make it look good.
Oh ya. I moved to BF Iowa after 30yrs in Vegas, then Hawaii, and on and on,,,,,I have my SSDI every month. Life's Good

Only an ignorant fool would marry....nothing good comes from answering to cleaning up after and losing your identity or identifying only as an appendage of ones spouse if only if it has been pre approved by said spouse. Ugh. Betrayed exhausted left penniless raised kids alone and end up with nothing to show for years of hard labor and dedication....nope...don't do it don't do it!!

If you marry the right person everything comes easy and you keep your identities. You sound like you had a bad experience. My first marriage was terrible but I got it right the second time around. Trick? I waited nearly 10 years for the right one to come along. 26 years later we have been surviving Covid-19 lock down just fine.

This was one of the first episodes I watched when I first found you back on April 16, 2022. And you’ve already been around since 2016. How did I miss you?! Anyway, this is a great story. This marks about the half way point in your episodes count and I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying the Wonderhussy Adventures! It’s taken me about a month to get through nearly 500 episodes and I got about 300 to go. Actually as of this writing date, Wonderhussy has 768 episodes as of 5/17/22. So I’ve just a little ways to go before I’m up to speed. I’m enjoying the whole ride from start to however far you wanna go!
You have a very entertaining channel and you definitely have a interesting life!!
