The furniture is mainly made from Cane, which is grass.. what ever wood is used is salvaged from old houses..

I m just mind blown. My whole dream of owning a ravshing palace now shattered. A palace of marbles, swimming pool, and so on is just a waste of nature, money, and time. This is an eye opening home. It cost money to do so. I want to do it since last one decade but back to back financial issues arising and i am not able to.
This is one of the greatest educational videos I ever seen. This house is so beautiful, so connected to nature. SO independent. I envy ( in a positive manner) the owners, it is A dream house. Family that live in it is surely happy and so so well in the nature. I love to see old and locally crafted stuff inside the house, a great respect to local community and its people.

I think he meant European homes could use some of the features this home has.
Filtration systems, high ceilings to prevent heat build up, water collection systems and use of materials that are produced locally. Just few things right on top of my head, shortly after watching the video.

The most eco friendly home in the world. I've seen many on buildofy and down-to-earth channels. But this is by far the most energy efficiency home in not just india but in whole world.
This is something I am also very passionate about and trust me I was not expecting this kind of sustainability in an Indian home. Somehow, I must agree that this house has got to be the most eco friendly houses in the country if not the world. And what makes me say that is how cost effective this entire design is compared to the other world class sustainable houses that I have seen.

We went there for case study..seems like oasis on that area ,one of the finest sustainable home i have seen till now ,sir and falguni mam were kind enough to give permission and even showed us the entire house and context explaining every minor detail like house for birds and even insects,i have no words to describe how it would feel to have your own jungle with all the animals and butterflies and the house that is sustainable in every way possible
