The airwrap is nice to have but definitely not a necessity! not FOMO worthy, though :) and yes I will be doing vlogmas. I'll try the daily video & see how it goes -- as you know, I usually always trail off near the end haha, thanks so much for watching! 💕

I think your hair looked great right after with the tight curls and then even a few days later, two different looks, still nice. I am looking into the new skinnier 0.8 barrel since my hair is not long and this one seems better suited for shorter, tighter hair.
I would want the longer one and I would try hair spray too
I find you can curl it dry but depends on your hair I guess .. great video

Absolutely! I mean, I don’t have short hair right now, but I don’t see why not. Plus the longer barrel gives you more versatility (whether you have long or short hair)
Unfortunately I never have patience to curl my hair:D I have a bob cut ,and actually it would take so much long but I never did 100% curling ;D I own dyson since one year :D and use just 1 Brush haha
Have you tried the 20mm/0.8 inch barrels? I want to try these but can’t find any reviews on TH-cam of them

I got excited to see this video bc I have the Dyson Airwrap as well and I love it! When do you use the blow dryer vs the airwrap? Also, where do get your hair clips? I have a bunch, but they don't hold my hair while I'm styling it. Thanks! 🤗
I usually rough dry my hair with the hair dryer and then style with the airwrap. I never style my hair with the hair dryer and a brush anymore, it's just easier for me to use the airwrap. The only time I use the hair dryer over the airwrap, is when I'm in a rush & only have time to rough dry my hair before I need to leave. I find the hair dryer is a little more powerful, so it will dry my hair quicker when I don't have time to properly style it with the airwrap. And the hair clips are from miniso! They're actually a popular style that you can find it a lot of places (amazon, beauty supply outlet) - it's like this big crocodile clip & it usually comes in a pack of 4-5. I really like them! 💕

Hey just came across your video. So my hair are not too lengthy at the moment. They go upto half my back, but I want to have an option for longer hair too. Do you think I should go for the long complete one ? Are the results the same with both these ?

I would say if you have the option to get a set with the longer barrels, then opt for that! My hair is about a medium length right now (just passed my shoulders) and I still reach for the longer barrel over the shorter ones. But if you already have the short barrels - you get the same results, it just takes more sections
Great Video! Is your hair dyed or processed in any way? I think it holds the curls very well... My silky smooth hair can't hold an airwrap curl for more than 10 mins
I've actually never done any semi-permanent treatments to my hair, except for a keratin treatment over 10 years ago. Have you tried a styling cream? That may give your hair more hold for the curl

@@aslhancanik5421 definitely a hair type thing. i’ve found my hair actually holds better with styling creams (the ones you add to damp hair) rather than styling sprays (like hair spray that you add to dry hair)

How long does it take you ? Is it possible to do it quickly. My hair is very long. But it's not thick at all.
After rough drying my hair (about 5-10 mins), it takes me another 15-20 mins to curl my hair with the long barrel. For comparison, the shorter barrel took me about 25-30 mins.

If i bought my gf the short one by accident, do i have to buy an extra long barrel or do i have to buy each attachment long aswell?
if you really wanted the long barrels, you might be better off just exchanging the whole set for the long barrel set. otherwise, yes, you can buy the long curling attachments separately.
Do the long barrels fit the shorter model, I have a Dyson airwrap from when it first came out but my hair is quite long.
All the barrels fit the handle, regardless of length.
Hi if you get the shorter barrel, can you buy the longer barrel separately? Like as an attachment?

From all the videos that I’ve seen, it seems like the Dyson Airwrap just curls the bottom part of the hair and not starting from the head. I’m disappointed that happens because then that just gives you a poodle look. 😂 Flat at the top and two balls of curls at the bottom.
they definitely don't hold that well of a curl on the top of the head... especially if you have long hair, it will just weight it down/drop the curl quicker. you could probably get a higher curl at the top with the smallest barrel (the 20mm).
My curls don’t ever last with this thing..
It definitely doesn’t last as long as a traditional curling iron. Not for every hair type, although, I do like look of my hair as the curls fall.
I heard others say the curl falls out quickly
definitely depends on the hair type - if your hair doesn't hold a curl well with a curling iron then this likely won't either
If your hair is long, you don’t need the shorter barrel 😅. And the price is the same.
