I’m really glad I disabled auto updates and still have v 1.1.1. My plan is to grind BP, then get Ability Patches for days before I update. I’m very happy to keep watching your videos, whichever patch they’re for.
The only thing I needed was ability patch and a couple competitive items, I had the setup altogether but due to a badly timed auto update (EVEN THOUGH I had auto updates turned off on my switch, it updated midgame without notifying me). Guess it's pretty fitting to lose all those glitches to a glitch, eh? lol....
Note if you wanted a Particular Nature for your Shaymin you can put a synchronize Pokemon with that nature in the lead spot of your party this should also work with every other encounter in the game
I have no plans on updating until something significant and time-sensitive releases, so I will enjoy and appreciate the 1.1.1 content for as long as you make it. For what it's worth, I'm still on Animal Crossing version 1.2.0 - the version for which your videos made me a subscriber :)
My game auto updated, meaning the only way I can still play on the old version is to keep the game running. I. WILL. NOT. CLOSE. MY. GAME. UNTIL. I. GET. THAT. SHAYMIN.
Even if you’re still in the flower paradise and you update to 1.1.2, you can still shiny hunt shaymin. If you fly away you just have no way to get back to the area
Neat that the area isn't removed nor did they force players to load elsewhere in the patch. So I guess those who don't care about the glitches being patched but still want to go online can just camp out on the island for the next few days lol
Yup, I’ve been doing this method for over a week. I’m about 20-30 hours of gameplay time into this hunt (I don’t like keeping track of encounters, it means I can’t zone out)
@@dylcoc I did 8,000-10K encounters on one game& never found it. Just starting doing RA's on a different account yesterday, so probably 500 in on this game still with no luck
I'm not too bothered with not being able to cheat, I did a few rare candies, a few ability patches and the rest I did legit. I just want to breed and train now, but being able to glitch sure did make me feel nostalgic about pokemon for a few days! I feel like i relived my pokemon red/blue days. Was sceptic about this channel, but in the end worth the watch. And i'm fairly positive about future non-glitch content :p
I gave up shiny hunting Shaymin in BD when I was over 5k encounters and no shiny. Also you can run right to the edge where it says Seabreak Path, it'll respawn

I saw your video I think yesterday about 1.1.2, disabled auto updates. 20min later went on to BD, asked for me to update, Savior! Also i did 450 resets for shaymin before learning about the run method of re encountering. It took many many hourss
I literally bought this game last night mainly for the glitches, and when I get home, it automatically downloaded the updated version and I can’t change back without it telling me to download the new patch… this is beyond horrible and a huge letdown…

The answer is nothing if they handed out bans based on mismatched date/time anyone with the wrong date/time on their system would be ban for any pokemon they catch…
You can't trade online if you don't update the game, you can only trade locally, I don't see how you'll be helping people when you can't trade them in order to help them lol

Lmfao you're trying to look smart but if you Did watch and listen you can uninstall the app Not save data and reinstall for the original version. Just make sure to have auto upload turned off... there you go champ, bow you don't have to rewatch the whole video.
@@kazitrashpanda8151 Some of us do have IRL friends to help out. Alternatively, if you have two Switches, you can just use the exploits on one, trade to the other (updated) one, and then use online trades like that
@@simssebastian I dont think you can trade locally if you are not on the same update as your friend/second switch. What you can do is just transfer save data between switches whith different BDSP update version
What I don't understand is why Shaymin is spawned in the overworld despite event flags not being there and yet in Darkrai's case he's just not there at all.
I just saw this video after the update and did not realize that you could shiny hunt shaymin so easily. I really hope they have it so you can run from the battle go down to the instance below and go back up to get shaymin to respawn so you can shiny hunt it that way
Such a shame I wasn't able to get to shaymin in time for this glitch. Oh well, I'm still shiny hunting my 3rd team member so I'll just shiny hunt other legendaries and wait until the official event for shaymin gets released. Great stuff, Blaines!
I had a gut feeling that it would be patched so I managed to save at Shaymin (to shiny hunt) right before it happened. I was very fortunate to do it. Haha
@@That1Toast Yes. When I started my game (after it updated) Shaymin is still there. So I'm stuck trying to Shiny hunt for Shaymin until it appears shiny or an event is released to obtain him.
Don't forget that as long as you saved on a 1.1.x version you can downgrade locally with no very little chance of save file issues. Just delete the software from the 1.1.2 system then update locally with someone that still has the 1.1.1 update installed on their system. 1.2.0+ saves will likely not work with this method of downgrading.

after the patch of 1.1.2 i finally got shiny shaymin over 1019 RanAways hunting shiny shaymin still works while i was in the void glitch still and now im done im hunting for normal hunting pokemons
Fun fact. I have it updated to latest version. And finally got to Shaymin without the glitch and it still respawns when I go in and out of the zone. Just haven't found it shiny yet but I'm trying to get it that way. Is the glitch needed to get it shiny more easily or not?
Got shaymin, got the flower on daytime. Shaymin didnt transform, when i go into the bag and want to manually use it on shaymin it gives me an error. Skyform doesnt work for everybody!!!

What's weird about the flags not being lifted? Sure it's in the game, but it's unobtainable without hacks or glitches... without the event of course there's a flag.

I tried this and it did not work. I deleted the game off my system (have game card) (kept saved data) and it would not allow me to play unless I updated it.
I'd love to do this method but sadly I updated my game cause your last video saying I could just delete the software data and reinstall the game to revert back to the 1.0.0 version and now I'm stuck on 1.1.2. My game was eve version 1.1.1 before I did the method of deleting software data and after redownloading it it updated my game, even with auto updates turned off. So Im basically just playing sw/sh till new glitches are found cause 95% of the fun from bdsp was doing dupes and like @Trevor Collins said I really enjoyed helping people out getting pokemon they were having hard times getting but those times are over for me now I guess until new glitches show. Sad sad sad day
@@jonniefast no it does unfortunately but I’ll be keeping my diamond unupdated to still do glitches and stuff and my Pearl updated so I can still trade and battle my friends. I’ll be updating Diamond once I get all the legendarys and clone them ready for Pokémon home so I can use them in sword and shield.
if you saved on 1.1.2 and newer, afaik you can't roll back to 1.1.1 or below( unless there was a bug that would allow for it). Unfortunately in this case, the game checks, if you saved on a newer game version, to prevent potential crashes from trying to load files, that don't exist in older versions.( A good example for this would be the Ramanas Park, which didn't exist in the files on version 1.0.0 and was just added in 1.1.0)
So I have a bad egg in my party, and for some reason my game keeps crashing, I can’t even open it anymore, it just shows the dialga screen, press A, and then it crashes, is there any way to get past this or go back to 1.1.1?

I think the only real issue with these shaymin is the level caught in the summary.
I’m sticking on 1.1.1 for now at least until I’ve had time to build up my items also holding out for a way to dupe mysterious shards hopefully
I'll be keeping my version at 1.1.1. Just for these glitches honestly. It's been a way for me to help others like people did for me in swsh

Just as a quick heads up for anyone wondering. This method does indeed work (at least on patch 1.11). Got it after running away 468 times.

You can delete game data on your switch (will not delete saves) and it will put your game back to 1.0.
I tried this and it did not work.
I deleted the game off my system (have game card) (kept saved data) and it would not allow me to play unless I updated it.

I'd love to do this method but sadly I updated my game cause your last video saying I could just delete the software data and reinstall the game to revert back to the 1.0.0 version and now I'm stuck on 1.1.2. My game was eve version 1.1.1 before I did the method of deleting software data and after redownloading it it updated my game, even with auto updates turned off. So Im basically just playing sw/sh till new glitches are found cause 95% of the fun from bdsp was doing dupes and like @Trevor Collins said I really enjoyed helping people out getting pokemon they were having hard times getting but those times are over for me now I guess until new glitches show. Sad sad sad day

@@jonniefast no it does unfortunately but I’ll be keeping my diamond unupdated to still do glitches and stuff and my Pearl updated so I can still trade and battle my friends. I’ll be updating Diamond once I get all the legendarys and clone them ready for Pokémon home so I can use them in sword and shield.
How does rollback work? Can you really get version 1.1.1 with the same save file you just saved?
if you saved on 1.1.2 and newer, afaik you can't roll back to 1.1.1 or below( unless there was a bug that would allow for it). Unfortunately in this case, the game checks, if you saved on a newer game version, to prevent potential crashes from trying to load files, that don't exist in older versions.( A good example for this would be the Ramanas Park, which didn't exist in the files on version 1.0.0 and was just added in 1.1.0)
Put 25+ hours into hunting shiny shaymin with this method. No luck. Ended up just catching the regular one 🤷♂️
So I have a bad egg in my party, and for some reason my game keeps crashing, I can’t even open it anymore, it just shows the dialga screen, press A, and then it crashes, is there any way to get past this or go back to 1.1.1?
just so anyone who are panicking, you can still do this glitch if you are still shiny hunting at the island like I am (5,490 encounters btw), unfortunately idk about those who hasn't got there yet, godspeed, I knew something like this would happen so I sped there as fast as I could like Barry would

I remember when it took me nearly 8k on registeel on sword so I'm just taking my time with it, but I'm also just rankin in nearly 1k encounters a day because of this method so

I just try to do something in the background while hunting, watching TH-cam or talking on discord
