- Jackie, Juno and I continued our journey to segment hike the Colorado Trail tackling what we felt was the most beautiful segment yet in segment 7. This hike was about 13.2 miles with 3,650ft of elevation gain. This segment starts at Gold Hill just outside of Breckenridge and ends at Copper Mountain.

Good looking day hike will have to try it someday. You could always do the Blanca-Little Bear traverse if the trails are getting too crowded, can't imagine its ever crowded up there.

Your video of that traverse was very well made entertaining as well as informative. I know most people like myself can watch that video and know we want to have nothing to do with that adventure. Looked like what you said at the end of the video that that traverse was in another league from the other three was accurate. A fine accomplishment while creating a great video.
