That singer is the late great Levi Stubbs. Absolutely one of the greatest singers in all of soul music's history. He had a super long career too and was always consistently excellent. He was even better live which is always the hallmark of a superb singer.
❤😊❤😊 people who say you don't have a variety of music on here clearly are to self involved and have never taken the time to look at your catalog. I love your channel you have everything from old to new across all genre's for good days, bad days and any mood 😊 You are amazing and beautiful! Love ya Hector ❤
The Four Tops - It’s The Way Nature Planned It. Definitely give that song a listen if you can. It’s another smooth track from their catalog. As always another great reaction.
YOU are a MotownGroupie now !! Love your reaction to The Four Tops & Motown sounds💓 I love Motown & all the incredible artists who were part of the most soulful sounds of the 60’s& 70’s, I was a teen when I discovered the music of Motown 🥰 The Four Tops & The Temptations were groups that had showstoppers when they performed together, their dance offs are legendary as well as singing until the fans went crazy & wanted more! Marvin Gaye my favorite star of Motown had me in palm of his hand when he sang. I absolutely love your reactions on this channel & feel the same way about those who have nothing good to say, they can just f..k off & disappear 😻💜🇨🇦 sending love from Canada 🇨🇦
The one and only Levi Stubbs. There was a bit of rivalry between The 4 Tops and The Temptations. They matched each other hit for hit. Soul, Funk, R&B and ballads. They did it all. What a tune!
I just don't get tired of watching your reactions. They are priceless just like you. Music from that era would touch your soul and tickle it just a little... and you showed that. Thanks ... I love you man
Levi Stubbs has the best golden voice in the Four Tops. He was also the voice of the villainous Audrey 2 in the film version of Little Shop of Horrors with Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Vincenzo Gardenia, Steve Martin, and Bill Murray.
I love how much you enjoy music. Haters can go f oneself if you critcize how he enjoys music his way. It's his channel. Go get your own if you think you can do it better. Love the Four Tops. Their music is *chef's kiss*. I still put Journey at the top of my list along with Queen though.
Reminds me of cruising in my 72 chevelle and listening to the radio. After about 8:00 at night a radio station KOMA out of Oklahoma city would turn its power up and you vould hear that all over the west and they played the top ten over and over with a song in the top 100 or just one listeners liked every once in a while and this song was Number 4 1973. I would have listen to my 8 track tape player but it eat all my tapes. In otherwords this song is timeless.
Another excellent track from The Four Tops. This was playing at my local store, it’s it’s grooving’ cool. thanks so much for sharing your reaction and it’s a like and thumbs up.😄👍#thefourtops
I SIMPLY LUUUUUUV YOUR CHANNEL AND YOUR REACTIONS BRAINSQUEEZE!😀Your Vibe Is Unmatched and Your Breakdowns Of Each And Every Song Are So Good To Watch You Do. Keep Doing This. It’s Great👍🏾💯👍🏾
A popular song in Northern Soul is one by the name of Do I Love You (Indeed I do) by Frank Wilson. It’s my parents’ ‘song’ that they both had their first tattoo of at the age of 60. My dad has been collecting soul and northern soul music for well over 40 years and has somewhere in the region of 20,000 vinyl records so there’s plenty of it around for you to check out! I’d love to be able to show my dad your reaction to this song if you ever do one 😊
❤ your reactions. That's why I watch reaction videos. I want to see and hear how the music makes you feel, and how you express your thoughts. You hold nothing back and I love it!
Memphis Soul Stew - King Curtis (if it’s not already on your list…I might have mentioned it once or twice 😉). You might have heard a very small snippet of it as it’s the tune to the current Am@zon adverts 😁
Imagine if you will, a world full of motown artists, and CCR, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Stones, Animals, Zombies, Elvis. And on and on and on................... That was my youth.
This may sound strange but with so many talented artists hitting you all the time it almost became old hat. If you know what I mean. Actually listening to them now after so many years later they sound more fantastic.
Yes I remember 1956 when Elvis sang Heartbreak Hotel, I was a 16 kid from then on my world changed, now in my 83rd year and still rocking mainly in my rocking chair. Love and respect from Perth Australia.
@@justinthyme5382 Wow. Hello Perth. My rock & roll moment was when the Beatles first came to America. I remember that like it was yesterday. I also love Elvis but I was born in 1958.
@@randyobrien2836 thanks for the reply Randy, I'm not too sure how much TIME I've got ( that's a nod to Pink Floyd) I got some crappy news about 6 months ago, been diagnosed with aggressive Lung cancer so I'm going Rock harder in my rocking chair, my Stairway To Heaven will be pretty soon I think, one thing for sure is that I've lived through the greatest music ever made...Love and respect from Perth Australia 😎🖐💕🎶🎵🎶
I am rewatching your reaction. As I do, draw a lot of your videos. And I'm old so I was around for the 4 tops. And you know what of all the motown groups? I think these were the most unrelated.❤❤❤
“Take your favorite food , double it, and eat it off the person you love” says Brain Squeeze. All I could think of was eating a giant Grand Marnier soufflé off my husbands tummy. No, that wouldn’t work out too well 😜
Man, I love your reaction! If you want the Four Tops in the extreme othwe direction, you should look up the tear jerker of the concert video of an aged Aretha Franklin perform I Believe In You and Me where the members of the Four Tops wheel out an end of life Levi Stubbs (the lead singer) and they all share a duet.
Motown is just amazing music. I hope you check out some Stevie Wonder soon. His music will blow your mind. I cannot recommend him enough. Another great Motown song is "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" by Jimmy Ruffin.
Thank you Hector you make me laugh out loud while listening to music from when I was kid. I can't wait till you check out the Ohio Players. Your going to loose it. Sweet Sticky Thing or Love Rollercoaster. Be well brother.

Love your variety and enthusiasm! Two new female artists for you -- Brandi Carlisle ("The Story" and "The Joke") and LP ("Lost on You" & "When We're High" & "Halo")
That's the only unfortunate thing about the hits from the sixties and early seventies. The formula was that a song couldn't be more than 3 to 3.5 minutes. They all ended way too soon.
Oh, it just started and I do remember this. Deep joy. LEVI STUBBS is singing
Re-re-rewind, awesome. It's why I'm here.
That singer is the late great Levi Stubbs. Absolutely one of the greatest singers in all of soul music's history. He had a super long career too and was always consistently excellent. He was even better live which is always the hallmark of a superb singer.

Hector, keep exploring. You are magnificent. Such fun.
This is the music I grew up listening to, doesn’t get any better than Motown.
If you love this, you might also love 1972’s "If You Don't Know Me by Now" by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes with Teddy Pendergrass on lead vocals.
You did the Four Tops “I Can’t Help Myself” 5 months ago & loved it!
I thought I recognised the group name!!!! 🙌🙌🙌😊😊😊😊😊⏪️🧠

I think Levi ( lead vocals in this song ) is the gentleman in the back with the blue shirt on. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
You have got to try some 'Sly and the Family Stone' large rabbit hole!
Check out their song "Keeper of the Castle" to have your mind totally blown. I mean, more than it normally is? S'all Goodman. Love your reactions.
Going to take me 2 years to catch up!
I LOVE 7 Brides For 7 Brothers!! Of course, I'm old so have had plenty of time to explore. Glad to see a younger person enjoying old musicals. 😎😎😎😎

Levi Stubbs baby!
Try Cornelius brothers and Sister Rose. Too late to turn back now. Same soul as this great song.
Love your variety and enthusiasm! Two new female artists for you -- Brandi Carlisle ("The Story" and "The Joke") and LP ("Lost on You" & "When We're High" & "Halo")
