The Fansteck 500W Is a good one for halloween as you can turn off the lights if you want the only reason its still good is because you can use plain water and its a really good brand. So I would recommend the Fansteck 500W
And if your looking for cheap fog fluid I would recommend the High Density Fog Worx!

Put the end of the fog machine in a 6 inch pipe and place a few frozen bottles of water inside, that will make the fog stay low and get some 50/50 vape liquid

I have a fog machine effectively similar to #5 (likely made in China, company name scrubbed off and replaced with something else) but it's the same wattage, design, 3 LED lights, exact same color controller. I can not for the life of me get the color remote to work. I assumed I had the 3V battery in upside down but it doesn't seem to matter how I orient the battery. The instructions say you can only control the color when fog is dispensing, but even then its stuck on it's default settings. Is it just a dead 3V battery in the controller?
