Most of the Vikings 2005 season I have are my actual VHS tapes digitized. The Vikes have played the Bucs six times since the realignment, and I now have 5 of them in my library. Still on the lookout for the '08 matchup.
I remember this game well. Culpepper and the Vikings were coming into the season without Randy Moss, center Matt Birk, and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan. All were gone in the offseason. Still, Culpepper had a big year the previous season and many assumed he would still dominate without Moss, and utilize guys like Nate Burleson and rookie Troy Williamson. Instead, this was the start of the end of Daunte's career as a quality QB in the NFL. It happened before he destroyed his knee weeks later in Carolina. He was playing terribly up to that point. Sad that he never got back on track.
I’m a huge Brad Johnson fan but they should have kept Culpepper after this season. Shame he didn’t workout in Miami. That seemed like such a good fit and the hype was strong for them before the first week of the season.

Troy Williamson was such s terrible receiver. The amount of drops that guy had was unbelievable.
