I remember watching this game live. This team was over hyped for what they produced. On paper it looked perfect, on the field it never clicked.

Lol all these weapons and we still got our asses kicked at Lambeau the following week. But I miss these bears teams. It brings back a lot of memories. But a lot of frustration because we was close to a championship. Cutler just needed to be that dude for a 3 to 4 year stretch. He couldn’t be consistent and when he was playing at a high level, he’ll get injured. Urlacher, Briggs, Tillman still had something left in the tank, young players like Henry Melton were coming into their own, Alshon Jeffery became a pro bowler, we needed to strike while the iron was hot. But hopefully we’ll get a few championships under this current bears team lead by Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy

Jamari Riddick Cuntler was garbage against the packtards who have a trash defense.

@@jeremyc9593 Lovie Smith’s bad decisions lost Super Bowl 41 for the Bears. He took Thomas Jones out of the game for reasons that remain to be unknown to this day. Jones was tearing it up out there, so for some reason he was benched. Smith also refused to make adjustments on defense, so the Bears lost the game slowly and gradually. The defense was out there all night. The Bears lost Ron Rivera as defensive coordinator the following season, and they suffered as a result.

  • @DaDitka

This Bears' team had a great defense. Might have been the most intimidating one I saw I Chicago since 1985. If they could have just won one more game they might have made quite a bit of noise in the playoffs.
The next year the defense utterly collapsed and the Bears sadly ended up being what we thought they were. Oh well.

I was at this game. Probably my favorite Bears game I ever went to see. Beautiful Warm day, a promising rookie in Alshon Jeffrey & Colts debut of Andrew Luck, then you had newcomer free agent Brandon Marshall reunited with Jay. Cutler was on fire after that early Interception pick 6. My favorite moment in the game was the rocket Cutler threw to Jeffrey on play action.
    Can't believe it's been a decade.
This team should have been in the playoffs, a travesty to not make it at 10-6
