2005 was the craziest year the Steelers ever had and still went to the Superbowl and won it. 2005 was a season of one bad "happening" after another, the Steelers limits, were tested every week of that year. I was at the last game of the season, and remember the fans chanting "one more year" for Bettis, fans most likely thinking he wasn't going to get there that year. Of course after that last regular season game, the real roller coaster ride began! What a Season it was for the Steelers and their great fan base! And Jerome Bettis got his Ring!
Sure do miss the days of having multiple, talented players on both sides of the 🏈. Although it was a major struggle of a season, Pittsburgh still had the playmakers to get it done. Something we haven’t seen in what seems like forever.
