I was about to give up on getting this, but then being offered SoC megazord and Dragonzord for $300 felt like a good time to give it a shot. You weren't kidding in terms of quality. Easily one of the greatest megazord collectibles ever made. Incredible upgrade from my 1992 version
Great video. If I hadn't hadn't bought it yet, you would have convinced me! Yup, this megazord is totally worth it. Yes it's expensive but only then can we have a really high end figure that we've always wanted.

Great review! I was fortunate to be able to get one and this thing is AMAZING! Next to Voltron and Mighty Orbots, this first Megazord is one of my all time favorite combining robots and this SOC is the definitive version of this robot. I missed out on all the cool robots as a kid and I am not going to miss out now. As you mentioned, this is the golden age of Power Ranger collecting. With the amazingly scarce representation of Power Ranger toys at this year's Comic Con, things might be coming to an end soon. I hope not but if they do I know I was able to get this MASTERPIECE of a Megazord! Keep up the great work!

I lucked out and got one for $300 after tax and shipping just a week ago. I am very happy with it.
I got mine on Amazon this week and it arrived today. I didn't pay an arm and a leg for mine. I actually got mine at a discount. I saved $50 off the original price. I'm very happy with my purchase as this is the best version of the original Power Rangers megazord we have ever gotten. I consider it a jewel in my collection and I'll most definitely keep it for many years to come.
The number of views you get for the amount of quality you put out is disturbingly low. Great vid, man

I always seem to time these right with the megazord I never paid full price for any of the legacy line, just bought this guy on ebay for $265 free shipping. I don't think my window of opportunity couldn't of been better and price wise is as low as I was going to get this beauty.

Get the mini megazord of Chugokin it cant transform but highly poseable and has good accessories for $100 to $150 and looks just as good!
Way back when I was a kid this was cheaper and now it’s so expensive! I want to get this one for my new home but I need to save up for this first. It’s really nice!

+Santiago Misael I think everything between Legacy Dragonzord to Legacy Thunder Megazord look most impressive and 'tv accurate'. Add Soul of Chogokin Megazord and it's a great set. Legacy Ninja Megazord isn't awful, it just isn't all there and every issue is to do with the falconzord and bear Zords. Here's hoping we get Shogun though.

Saw it was reissued a few days ago and just copped it as well! Years ago I could've bought it, but couldn't justify spending that much at the time. I always said if it was reissued I'd grab it, five years on was finally able to! Currency conversion was a killer though, would've been cheaper years ago. Based on some reviews, I'm going to have to try ceramic coating the chrome to protect it from tarnishing.

My friend, I would like the Dino Megazord and the Thunder Megazord to come back in the next season of the Power rangers even though the old remastered Toy Megazords can now be combined.
Can someone please tell me why they are calling it the Dino Megazord when Zordon called it the Mighty Megazord in MMPR episode one?

Just bought it to add to my collection
I missed out on this back then mostly because I didn't know about it at the time but the price was also to high. As an alternative to this I would recommend the minipla model kit Zords. While they are out of print now so you'll have to pay higher than retail to get them and it is about the size of a 6" figure those kits are still very articulated and I've tracked down all of the ones released with the exception of Titanus.

It's an amazing megazord to have
I’m on the fence about this, since it looks so much better than the legacy version.
But does it combine with the legacy Dragonzord?
That’s the only think holding me back.

It does not unfortunately it’s got slightly different dimensions so nothing legacy fits!
The problem with this review is that you see and judge it as a Megazord release and not an regular Soul of Chogokin release. All the postive points are staples of the line and praising them is okay, but redundant. I'd be surprised if an SoF release didn't come with these features.
recently I spent 750$ on 3 OverWatch statues so I don't think I'll be buying this because I need to save up money for other stuff
