Sorry about your grandfather, man. When I was 14, my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She lived with us, so I got to see *all* of that downhill slope. Still fucks me up 30 years later. Anyways, you're winning the "best grandson" award for the year, and I hold you in the highest regard.

Let me just congratulate you on deciding ton not get into it and keep things on a positive trajectory. Seriously. As you say, it tears communities apart and it’s due to some documented types of dynamics that occur. You likely have encountered them in your life (off TH-cam.)
There is a very real psychological phenomenon called “bonding over a common enemy” or “common enemy intimacy.” You may know it from your middle and high school days…you have a best friend or two, and one day one of them feels slighted by a classmate, call him Johnny, who is likely an acquaintance or even somewhat of a friend. Your best friend tells you you can’t speak to them again, cus, duh! They slighted HIM and your HIS best friend, right? He may even get that other close friend of yours to go along with it. It’s now obvious, you just start hating on Johnny though you have never had anything to actually hate him for.
This happens to communities though to a slightly more perverse level because we get parasocial relationships that are occurring. People will chat, comment and bond over hating on the creator they have more of this seeming bond and ESPECIALLY if the creator is like “x dissed me” knowing those who really are fans of his may very well start getting in a frenzy.
It’s just that these bonds, although they’re a type of COUNTERFEIT bond, are INTENSE. They feel as potent as true bonds (ones that are CONSTRUCTIVE.) but are actually contrary to what bonding is meant to do (build up, not tear down.) they’re attractive because they give us this INSTANT gratification and give people a release, a reason to vent and get anger out. Let me repeat, this isn’t a good thing in the end. At their core they’re hollow and can lead to group thinking.
Offline, there have been cases of friend groups where this started happening and in one case one girl got friends to help her, well…ended another fellow junior high schooler because the one other friend had gotten 2 of a former 4 friend group (the 3 committing the crime and the victim) That’s an extreme example of just how toxic this type of bond is.

We knew why he had to go to twitch. Big Sean’s part in Tobey is procing the automatic copyright strike and giving a week timeout. TH-cam has been ramping up the strikes due to the election. It’s been happening to a lot of reactors. But to address chatting on twitch you need an account you can use an Amazon account if you have one. You should be able to create an account with just an email but it’s been a long time since I made an account. Without an account on twitch you can’t chat. I would just wait till Cliff resumes on TH-cam again.

yesterday I woke up kso Big Dipper dropped Tobey remix and dissed Cliff and the avengers then I saw red top’s video dissing the avengers and Cliff primarily as he put it “Cliffbeats reacted to noxbond and he wishes the gun went off in is mouth so who is he avenging? They are supposed to be heroes” Then I saw Cliff react to the AR video I was literally like wtf happened how did they get into a beef?
