Im waiting on my 700 I can't wait to smoke some ribs. I have a quick question do you leave your Recteq outside all the time? I do not have a covered patio and don't have any room in the garage just wondering if I can keep it covered outside. I live in Southern Virginia winter is pretty mild.
Thanks for watching I appreciate it. Yes sir I keep it outside all year long. In the summer I keep the cover off of it. But in the winter I keep it covered till I use it. I asked that very same question on a Facebook group. And low a behold the owner of Rec Teq commented and told me to leave it outside year round without a cover if I wanted. He assured me it would be fine. Over 2 years later never had a single problem with it. I keep mine on my patio that is not covered. It’s a beast it will be fine brother. I seen a video or a guy that lived way up north and kept his 680 out all year and in said video he walked out in 2 feet of snow bull completely covered in snow. He hit the power button and it fired up and melted the snow off and he cooked ribs. He did say it took it about 15 minutes longer to get to temp. After I seen that I knew I had found my grill/smoker. I’m sure you’ll get lots of enjoyment out of it. I know I’ve never had a bad cook on the bull. Hope you have a great weekend
