Chemung river in Elmira, NY the home of Mark Twain leads into the Susquehanna and we have miles and miles of great river fishing with great Northern pike, Tiger muskee, Large and smallmouth bass and chain pickerel which makes for a great top water trip.

If you go to ny I live there and I have a camp at a lake there called Piseco lake, and right across from Piseco lake is spy lake which is an amazing largemouth and smallmouth Fishing spot. I caught a 21” smallmouth out of there, and I know that there have been 24” 5 lb smallmouth caught out of there. So if you are in ny and are in the Adirondacks, maybe stop there 👍

Been watching your vids for some time now, and must say that I am of the same mind as you in regards to picking up spent fishing line. Many places I go fishing here in Tennessee I find this stuff all around the banks. This makes me wonder how much of it is in the water. You are a true outdoorsman, and you showed it in this video because you actually care about the environment. Love what you do, keep em' coming.

Plastic baits kill fish. Googan baits aren’t biodegradable. Lines bad but he’s using unbiodegradable lures and sells them.

Some people are really lazy when it comes to picking up their line but we also have to remember this time of year the water is down a bit so a lot of the line is from snags when the water was higher (cant retrieve without diving). That being said, the people that just leave it there on the shore suck.

As a local new englander, I've always heard how overcrowded that place is with everything except anglers. Like you're trying to fish and someone is tubing next to you.
Would love more chill travel fishing and low-key, clean video presentation. Love the big stuff too (Australia was awesome) but just you and the camera fishing completely new regions is just perfect. Make sure to stick around for a while when you hit the juice or fall in love with an area.

CT has some good spots. Candle wood lake is the biggest body of water in Ct. Great fishing there. Ct river were it meets the ocean has huge stripers this time of year also

If you want you could fish in bantam lake in Connecticut. There are huge pike like 4 ft. I also caught a 6 pound large mouth off of a dock using some type of jig that I forgot the name of

I know where this is in Massachusetts!! Tried fishing here once but there's a tall chain link fence around the entire reservoir with no trespassing signs since it's a backup water supply for Boston. I bet there are some mondos in there from the essentially zero fishing pressure. Nice vid man

You should try out Horace lake in weare Nh. Almost no one knows it exists and it's super calm during the week. Has every species you could catch with wide variety of depths with areas with some vegitation, some rocks, and drop offs. Love the vids

You gotta check out Mahopac lake in NY. Great Small mouth and large mouth fishing but known for its small mouth's they also have Chain Pickerel, Rock Bass, Black Crappie, Pumpkinseed, Bluegill, Redbreast Sunfish, Yellow Perch and Brown Bullhead!!

Try the Quabbin Reservoir, they have a small boat rental right there you can rent half day or full day, I heard you mention all your tackle and boat are in separate states. If memory serves right the Quabbin Reservoir is also one of the deepest freshwater bodies we have. So cool that you are in Massachusetts, wish I could meet up and hit a lake or pond for the day with you. Nice location!

I got a spot in Central New York you gotta fish! One creek, we got Tiger muskies, Northern Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth, Largemouth, Brown Trout, Brook Trout. Caught 2 Tiger Muskies this year. One on the fly rod about 36 inches. Caught 5 walleye last week 1 was 4.2lbs. Caught a 4lb Largemouth. Saw a 20inch plus brown follow my jerkbait. Buddy caught a 17inch brooke trout.

You have to try Olney pond, huge pond in Rhode island for bank fishing so many spots you can hit by walking through the woods! Full of rainbow trout, bass, crappie and pickerel THAT PLACE IS A MUST really fun and not crowded (top water near the lillies kill it). Also in Rhode Island right next to East Matunuck State Beach is a rock wall you can walk out with a bunch of people and fish small striper all day.

Hey, I fish in the area a lot, and you should definitely hit Wachusett Reservoir. Its pretty close to Boston. It's got landlocked salmon, rainbow trout, smallmouth, pickerel, white perch and a some other fish. It's a prime mass fishing spot.
Jon - If you want to do something wild in MA, hit up the Wachusett reservoir. Its absolutely huge and bank fishing only but, people catch 4-5lb smallies and largies frequently and people also catch lake trout from shore. Very different than a lot of your typical pond/lake bassin.
