I've never seen this many A-Wings in a single official mission in any X-Wing series game, I suspect.
Done the mission so well, the story script broke. Yeah, it happens.

Some EH custom missions have a lot of fighters, sometimes an absurd number. I remember one mission that had 300+ enemy fighters in it.
