I used to go there in the 70's It's was an open camp ground back then. I have seen as many as 5000 people there, it was closed to driving in all the way in back in 77 I think. I area is also a mining claim. The TUBS are just below the slides too.

Regarding comments and people complaining about your intentions to share a nice fun activity for the family, I understand not everyone follows guidelines to picking up after themselves it’s unfortunate I’m against it. But for those that don’t not everyone else should pay the price that do. Overall Thank You for the opportunity in sharing. Hopefully everyone does there part to continue enjoying these hidden treasures!
Dane Papazian if we were to go into it more general honestly with all respect let’s be logical it’s not just tourists careless people exists everywhere and trying to hide a location doesn’t change the facts at other locations but I’m sure you wouldn’t like to not know or be welcomed in other “public” activities because of others actions. It goes both ways. Unfortunately one can’t change society and everyone but not everyone should pay the price bc that would count you as well when you would want to go into someone else’s local “public” parks etc.
Dane Papazian just know I understand your frustration just trying to point out the facts. I hope the government sets cameras or more surveillance in recreational parks etc maybe then change will start. I grew up in a local river when I was 6 years old was the last time I was able to get in now it’s contaminated unfortunately it’s not on ones control everyone needs to do their part or not come or pay the price ... but my overall point is not everyone is the same.

Exactly! Locals Are Getting Fed Up! My Family Has Been Camping In Those Closed Locations Respectively For Over A Century As Tradition. That’s All Came To A Stop Now😒 It’s Ridiculous!
Used to camp at camp site 4 but it's closed now FOREVER because some shitstains spray painted graffiti on a bunch of the rocks. Now, their offspring are ruining lower peppermint . Bring back the Tulare County sheriffs Goon squad.
I heard that they have problem with trash every single holiday because its a holiday. Also this place has millions of views on TH-cam even before I did this piece.
Good job Adam. I am retiring in the area so thank you. You should do one on the Amos Alonza Stagg Tree. It is a short hike and is at the north end of the Great Western Divide Highway. I haven't been to it since the fire in the fall of 2017. It is the 6th biggest tree in the world.
If You’ve Heard About The Trash Problems Than Freaking Address Them! Because Of You, These Hot Tubs & Slides Are Thrashed More Than Ever! Good Going👏🏻😒
Used to visit here in the 80s and 90s as a kid with family. I was trying to remember where it was located. Thanks for this video!

i stayed at mcnallys
How was your stay?
Seen so many people try and cross that little creek by stepping in it slipping and wacking their head on the stone. Makes a horrible sound.
I'm actually going go 7 teacups in August because of your video, and this looks awesome too. Keep it up man 👍

Please use proper river shoes! I’ve seen So many people get hurt. And it’s a long drive to the nearest hospital!

Please stop doing these pieces, you did one on Remington hot springs and people literally trashed it over Labor Day weekend.

@@AdamBowlesTV perhaps include a reminder to people to preserve and respect all natural habitats so they can remain available for decades to come. :)
