Said she was going to ask her supervisor, who will be at least another person not answering real emergency calls, who knows how many she had to ask, interrupting them from taking calls. Surely, some training around what drone pilots can do legally would be a better use. Even an A4 sheet near their screens would help. And in big bold letters should read somewhere to be read to the caller, "You committed an offence by calling us for this, non emergency." Ringing the police on a man who said he will be flying a drone on a public path. There needs to be some for kind of penalty for wasting police time.

There is a penalty for wasting Police time, it's never used as it may deter people from making genuine calls, even if the Police tried to press charges, CPS wouldn't do anything as being "not in the public interest".

There are already routes for enforcing penalties for wasting police time; it’s up to the police to follow through. The problem with widely implementing such penalties is that some people who are genuinely unsure if a crime is being committed will be fearful of calling the police in case they are fined.
So Mr. Allied Universal made a fool of himself on Pure Audit's video (babbling nonsense minute after minute, not realising Pure Audits is not talking to him but the viewers), did not learn anything afterwards, lied to you about making Pure Audits leave (he was done), and then made a fool of himself again in this encounter. What a gem of an employee.

The training there must be terrible. I've never seen an allied universal security guard that knew what they were saying and I've seen thousands of these videos in different countries.

You can actually use a mobile phone whilst driving if you’re making a 999 call, I’ve done it a few times and the call handler has told me it’s ok to do so

Do you think a police call handler should know every law and what the measurements are for every possible breach of the law where a measurement is mentioned in the legislation? Or, do you think it’s reasonable for a call handler to check the rules before giving advice to a caller in a non-emergency situation? You and I know the law about drones because we watch videos pertaining that particular topic.
