- The gang is back! After a brief hiatus and a desperate need for money, the Nerd Crew returns to discuss their excitement for the new Sony Pictures movie Madame Web in theaters February 14th. This is their first attempt at a live stream so be patient with them.
Yessss. Nerd Crew is back! William Shatner will be so happy.
It's a podcast so exclusive, he'll never come as a guest.
I just Shatnerd myself.
Very cool... and dynamic!
@@TheMostWanted92 Yeah no up-and-comers allowed
I've genuinely thought they are done with Nerd Crew forever, because Mike felt hurt by his idol
It's actually kind of amazing how Mike can turn the light in his eyes on and off. That's talent.
Yes, a talent that comes from years of masking depression.
They're permanently dark. The light is CGI added in post.
It's amazing that he remembers how to turn it on. The fact that he can turn it off is no surprise.
It's not a talent at all, any hack can do it. He just thinks of modern star trek to turn it off, and elderly abuse to turn it back on. Disgusting liberal bs.
@@KnuckleHunkybuck off by default to save joy
When i saw Nerd Crew i didn't ask questions. I consumed it and got excited for the next Nerd Crew

The only good thing that Madame Web will be known for is bringing back The Nerd Crew. Thank you, Madame Web???
I might watch a camcorder torrent for that reason alone!
Well that and the Raimi films in theaters
And more people will remember Nerd Crew than Madame Web.
IT'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
Jack, thank you so much for introducing me to those beautiful men so many years ago
Will Smith overtook you in subs RIP

We're making it out of our mother's car with this one.
Has William Shatner seen this. It might be the episode that convinces him to go on Best of the Worst.
The Nerd Crew is about family and that’s what’s so powerful about it.
It's perfect in its simplicity, but complex in its subtlety.
The nerd crew are a funnier character than we’ve ever had
Me, personally, I loved this comment. The Nerd Crew is about family but it's also about movies, and that's what makes it so cool.
Very cool !
Very cool
That accidental cutaway to Mike smoking and looking utterly dead inside in the beginning is fucking gold.
The dog barking and news about the war in Syria in the background is perfect too.
That was just real-life Mike, though...

What makes the Nerd Crew so amazing is how it's grounded in reality.

Yes, a couple of young cool dudes.
And Rich Evans.

Very informative but what I really want to know and I am not sure they covered it is if the characters are dynamic.
Fingers on the whopper button
What I love about this podcast is that it’s grounded in reality. And the people on it are so dynamic.
Truly.
what does dynamic mean? full of dynamite?
It's so dense. Every frame has so much going on
and full of real world problems
Surprised that nobody has mentioned that it’s about family and, honestly, that’s what’s so powerful about it.
This is a perfect parody of what this content is like now. The unprepared start, the awkward pauses, the audio issues, the refusal of negativity, the shady ad read, all of it.
Also I love the idea of Rich not having working internet, yet somehow livestreaming.
But I dunno man, free Papa John's pizza seems pretty primo for signing up for a torren... I mean digital download service.

Genuinely impressive how they’ve modified the format of this show to be consistent with how the vitriolic internet film podcast landscape has evolved since the previous era of Nerd Crew.
I wonder if the lower production value and sloppier presentation is meant to imply that the corporate nerd culture industry is falling on harder times now that audiences are burning out on big budget MCU/superhero blockbusters.

Can we all just appreciate how much work it must've taken for the editor to cut down the original 4 hour livestream to just over 20 minutes? It must've been really tough to decide what to keep in, but overall they did a great job nailing down the most important parts.
Well an hour was mike under the table
Yeah, imagine having to cut all those parts where Mike screams into the microphone in utter agony.
I'm glad the editor kept in the part where they talked about how Madame Web is such a dynamic character.
It's too bad they cut the part explaining the dynamicism of Madame Web.
Nerd Crew once again breaking new ground
I really wanted to see Rich on the phone with the DMV, but it's a sacrifice they had to make!
