LOL, you did not fully unfold the tripod. And you did not tighten the screw which holds the light onto the tripod. I just bought from Costco for only 35 USD. I am surprised with the quality of the tripod. It's strongly built and feels sturdy. You pay for what you get. In my view this is a well built ring light at this price.
Sweet. Glad it's working for you! I returned it and got the Mobi photo from Costco it's way more expensive but I find it works way better and it makes my old crappy leather skin look reasonably nice
You are less bright than the light. First of all... stretch out the feet like you would any other tripod. Tighten up the light to the stand as with any other tripod mounted apparatus. I suppose that you brought it back to Costco and told them it was broken in the box??? Hope that you are not an IKEA customer. I have one and it performs as good as expected.
