During the height of the pandemic when many celebrities were whining about how bored they were in their luxurious mansions, Dolly was telling bedtime stories to kids online for frazzled and stressed out parents and donated 1 million dollars to the creation and research development of the Moderna vaccine! She's an absolute gem and gracious humanitarian!
You are so right. She was thinking about others, trying to help out. Grounded and practical - included giving money to help with the vaccine. I really respect her.

Jeff Bezos recently awarded Dolly 100 million dollars for his Courage and Civility award, in recognition of her philanthropic efforts over the years to be distributed over the next decade. I have complete faith that she will do so many great things for truly needy and deserving people with this money! Dolly is a doll!

Also post the fires in the mountain region she is from she donated $1K mo. to almost 900 families for 6 mo. as they'd not only lost homes but also in many cases workplaces to the fire. She did a telethon as well that took in enough money to increase the 6 mo. donation to $5K to each of those families. Gotta love Dolly💕
I live only two miles from Dollywood and 5 miles from her hometown of Sevierville and it’s always cool to hear it all being talked about on these shows in front of millions

I've worked a few thousand shows and attended hundreds more over the years. I like all types of music. Dolly is simply one of the best entertainers I've ever witnessed. So fun, so versatile, voice is incredible. She plays so many instruments. Jams out on Saxophone. Just about as nice a person as you can get.

I’ve been a fan of Dolly’s since I was a child, and my mom had one of her albums. When I was 11 and saw her movie, Rhinestone, I just loved her so much. I actually recorded the whole movie onto cassette tapes and would listen to it. I joined a cassette tape club just go get her Real Love tape, which got me in trouble with my parents. 😆 I’ve always struggled with anxiety, and I used to listen to her music to calm myself down, especially when I went on a school trip.
I remember buying the People magazine that featured her talking about creating Dollywood, and I was excited about that. My parents took me to Dollywood when I was 14, and Jimmy Fallon is right, it’s absolutely magical there. I had so much fun, and I held the Dolly Burlap and Satin album I got there all the way home to Ohio.
I was beyond thrilled when Dolly had her own show, and I watched it and recorded it every week. I just loved it so much and always found her to be so delightful. When she was on the Oprah show, I hurried to get a VHS tape to record it and ended up accidentally recording over my dad’s shows. He wasn’t very happy. 😅 It was such a great interview though, so worth it.
When I was 29, I finally got to attend one of Dolly’s concerts, and it was a dream come true. She was so beautiful, funny, sweet, charming, and she sounded even better live. ☺️
Over the last several years, seeing Dolly putting out products like her perfume, doing duets with some younger stars, like Kelly Clarkson, going on talk shows, and putting out new music just makes me so happy. I love reading the comments from people who sing her praises and say things I’ve known myself for about 37 years. I love Dolly so much, she’s an inspiration, she’s beautiful, tells the best stories, and she’s so kind-hearted and loving. I’ll always love you. 🥰

Everybody go to Dollywood if you have the chance! It's beautiful, and so much fun, and you'll never eat better food at a park.

She is gracious and lovely in many, many ways. Generous, kind, hilarious.
She's owns her plastic surgery and has said that as long as she can keep getting it, she will. So, I appreciate the honesty...in a culture of celebrities where the majority get cosmetic "work" yet deflect, deny, lie.
However, the very act of unneeded plastic surgery, is an act of self violence. It is a proclamation of not fully accepting oneself. That to be "ok" they have to harm themselves, put themselves at risk of infection, blood loss, and death...to appear a certain way.
It is a product of a youth obsessed culture, who worships "perfection".
I hope to age as intended, that is graceful...not the way that society tells me is ok or good. Society is sick.

I've heard that she has severe arthritis in her hands, hence the gloves/braces. But Dolly being the trouper and show-woman that she is, she has them made to look glamourous, lest anyone should consider her infirm. I mean that as the greatest compliment to the legend that is Dolly. The show must go on etc. Not sure if it's true but it sounds like how she'd play it. I adore her.

She’s been wearing gloves for like 10 years. Her hands have not been exposed in a long time. They just usually look more like gloves or are sequined; these are totally flesh-tone.

I have worn that make up every single night since 1992 and I take it off when I shower or wash my face the next morning and I have some of the most beautiful skin most people have ever seen. I get compliments all the time so we'reing makeup while you're sleeping is not something that harms your skin at all. I've even had dermatologist and cosmetologist compliment me multiple times. It's a total lie that's sleeping in your makeup does anything bad
