The situations you're talking about are rashfords after sprinting the length of the pitch and gets dispossessed while attacking. The player who dispossessed him passes the ball into midfield. You expect him (after sprinting the length of the pitch at 100 per cent max effort) to run by his teammates, who are better positioned to stop a counter attack and make the challenge. There are positions and roles in a team for a reason. All that being said I know nothing about football really.

I actually think Rashford can't handle the pressure sadly. When he's confident and on a high he looks unstoppable, but when he's in the dumps he can't find a way out of it. It's the way he's always been tbh. He looks like a guy who just has too much on his shoulders, and it's weighing him down. I'm not saying he's a victim and that he's got no fault, but I think it's a bit of a vicious cycle for him. He needs other leaders/characters in the team to take that flack and publicity so that he can sort of stay out of the limelight. And then he'll suddenly find his form again.

History is filled with players that loved Manchester United just as much as Rashford does, and were just as committed. Many of them never even got a regular place, because it's not about that. It's not about how you feel, it's also not about tattoos, or what you wear, or if you want to go to nightclubs. It's not about personality, or who your friends are. it's not about which deals you turned down. It is only ever about consistent performances on the pitch that befit the shirt you wear. That's all we want, and we all wish we could say we've seen that, but I personally don't think we have.

I don't think people should question his love for the club. However, the paying consumers are justified to question his engagement and application of the abilities we belive he has, on the pitch.
His inability to make a challenge when off the ball, or running hard to recover the ball after he has lost it, engenders the criticism that's being leveled at him. He needs to address his performances, speak to why he pulls out of challenges. Is he hurt, is he being asked to conserve his energy and avoid injuries? Is he lacking confidence? These are the matters fans/consumers want to hear.

Ralf Ragnick being proven correct as each match is played. Half of an Anthony Elanga is still more productive. Too bad Ralf shit on the Glazer's golden boy and got the sack sticking Rashford on the bench. The man actually called out everything wrong with the club.
People will accept some bad performances. People will overlook small issues of misconduct when you are playing well. Mix bad performance with behavioural breaches and turning up late for training and you can expect incoming fire. The way to repel that fire is not with an overly PR driven interview.
