what a bs. garnacho will never get close to the level of ronaldo / messi or even players behind that level. garnacho is an ok player, thats it.. and brainwise hes quite ass. football in general at the highest level has become worse and the fanside has become more and more clueless hyping up everyone who can run fast and here and there show highlights. i remember what it took to be labeled the next prospect back when quality was actually good, look back what great players did in their youth and compare it to the players we have nowadays / garnacho. the only players that are actually special are mbappe and haaland, then theres players like vinicius .. and a few steps behind that level theres someone like garnacho.

Garnacho's major technical development needs to be his awareness when he's running into the box.
He watches the ball at his feet more than he's looking for the pass or where the defenders are moving to. As he gains experience and confidence to run with his head up, he will add a new dimension to his game.

Amazing video, I think, Garnacho has a huge, huge potential, but if you see one of the key aspects of CR7 development when he was as young as Garna, was his focus on improving his physical form, gaining muscle in order to become stronger in balance all around the pitch, until he became literally a monster, I think Garna sooner or later will have to undergo the same path, gaining an strong body and measuring that without loosing his agility and skills, IF he succeed in that journey, man, the future is bright.

People are praising Haaland but Haaland career will be like R9 or Van Basten , he will retire early
Only Player in this era who is close to Messi and Ronaldo is Mbappé and he is also far behind ( one reason being he is sh!t at free kick) bcoz he aint complete player like Messi or Ronaldo

I agree that Garnacho is an incredible young talent. He’s one of my favourite players at the moment. But…literally nobody has ever been as good as CR7 (except one guy). On top of that, they aren’t similar players stylistically. So the comparison isn’t a good one. But that doesn’t take away from the excitement United fans should have.
Side note: I’m not even sure Garnacho is United’s most promising teenager at the moment :)

      well said.
I predict he will be a star for MUFC but also that he will eventually leave for spain in his mid twenties (and for big money).
Out of all academy players we have at the moment (including Garnacho and Mainoo), Garncho is probably the 3rd-4th most exciting product we have on our books.

There is a thing, I mean I'm not mad at players, but 99% of Latinos have Spain in mind as their final destination. Few reasons, LANGUAGE, yes they can know English perfect but after all, Spain is like second home to them. League is way less difficult than Prem, plus there are not lumberjacks in defense, so smaller chance to get injured. Their national team always prefer Primera players cause of the similar playstyle of the game. I love Garnacho a lot, but I can't be sure in his staying at OT if Barca or Real knocks on the door. I have faith in Hojlund (he is a fan since childhood), and Mainoo. Oh boy, Maino is the player I thought Pogba was gonna be for us...

I think most utd fans accept that he will leave MUFC eventually, seeing as he is south american, and its alot to ask somebody to spend literally their entire career in manchester, as great as MUFC is.
But if he does leave like CR7 did, it means hes leaving the club in a better place than when he started, and is generating insane profits for the club in the process.
In 2009 the glazers literally pocketed the entirety of the £80m received for CR7.
This time Sir Jim will put the Garnacho profits into the club where it belongs.

He's a star no doubt but his game is still developing. I watch all the games and to me, his biggest weakness is his physical presence and strength. He gets bumped off the ball way too easily. His legs have to get stronger too. Sometimes he just doesn't have the legs to finish off a run with a powerful shot. His legs give out a little especially later in the game. Once he can do that along with gaining more and more experience the sky is the limit for him.

Personally i see a future world class player in him. Due to our bad shape (relative to our former glory) most of the talent gets overshadowed by other youngsters in the league, and i really think that Garnacho is underrated.

  • @DreamRJ

I saw it from the first time I set my eyes on him as well in the youth team. I knew he had the potential to be world class player and as long as he has few injuries and does not have any major issues in his personal life then I see him headed in the same direction as Ronaldo but I do not think he will surpass him it depends if he copies Ronaldo fully, social media etc and sponsorships etc etc. But that will come as he develops as it does with any great player.
What is more is I saw similar potential in Greenwood as well but I did not see the same as I saw in Garnacho. Garnacho is more special than Greenwood was and we know what happened with Greenwood which was a total shame. But I could go onto write a essay about that but I will not. Great video though hopefully this video will gain more popularity and you can grow your channel. I would love it if you would do weekly or monthly update videos on Garnacho so to let people see his progress as he develops. Just an idea for you anyway @MattFuttie
EDIT: I have many shirts with Garnacho on them that is how much I love that player. I only pay for the named shirts in the store for the players I feel have potential. I do not get shirts with the players I do not see as a world class player. I support some of them but not all. I first saw Ronaldo when he played against Utd. with Sporting Lisboa and fell in love with his style. I told my friend they need to get him and Ferguson did. I have similar feelings with Garnacho. His biggest strength is his attitude and his positive body language, he is not likely to fall off and therefore will improve as the years progress. As good as CR7, probably not. That lightning strikes once in 50 years although there has been CR7 and Messi together to break that paradigm, but I still don't see it. However given the right advice guidance and application he certainly can be World Class and in the upper echelons of that as well, just a half step below CR7 and Messi. He is still developing his game but we have clearly seen that during this season, not only in his individual performances but in his contribution to the team as well. He is better than CR7 already in one aspect already though, his willingness to track back and do his defensive duties. In summary, he won't be the next Ronaldo, but he will be the first Garnacho.
