I’m from, & live in Wythenshawe, Manchester, the place Marcus is was born and raised in. Let me tell you it’s very easy to fall in with the wrong crowd here… & whilst being filled with some of the most genuine working-class people you could wish to meet, there are also a lot of bad influences here too. I’m a lifelong City fan and have had a season ticket since we were at Maine Road, but football rivalry goes in the bin when you’re dealing with people with the character of Marcus Rashford. You are a credit to our city/home and above all else a fantastic human being. I wish you all the luck in your endeavours (unless it’s at City’s expense, of course 😁)
he grew up in withington-fallowfield then moved to wythenshaw and you are so right about the people that come off the estates , the good people off the estates are the best people you could ever meet and make me proud to be a manc , peace r kid .
So many young players at the club and so much hope, but most of them don’t turn into what you’d hoped. I still remember Marcus just being a hope for us fans… few years later and he’s done so much more for the club than that. There isn’t a club in the world that wouldn’t want someone like Marcus.
As a Man United fan this is me trying to not be biased. But, this is one of the best episodes of the overlap! I absolutely love it! Gary Neville has brought me more joy than I can ever imagine on and off the pitch! Absolute legend ❤
This lad has been blessed with a fantastic talent, but many are, the difference is he's worked hard to get the best out of himself. On his social work outside of football, I can't think of enough positive words to say about the lad. Anyone who critizes what he does has big problems as far as I'm concerned. What a top lad he is, everyone who has anything to do with him must be rightly proud of his achievements already. I feel there's a lot more to come from him going forward. Doesn't matter who you support & I'm not a Utd fan. You've got to respect what he is & what he does.

I love his confidence alongside his humility, what a great role model!
You can't help but be impressed by Marcus. So happy he's resolved the injuries that hampered him and we're seeing him realise some of his potential. But the way he talks and his values are a credit to his family and the family he stayed with when he was young.
He has turned in to a fine young player and a great ambassador for the club and for Manchester.
What example to young people out there we love you Marcus 💗
He's an example to every young lad out there , on to live your life ,never give up on dreams , and stay humble once you've got there .. proper professional 👏👏👏
If anyone can bring it home for United it’s Marcus. He’s seen it all, been through it all no one’s been more passionate or more loyal than Rashford. He truly deserves the best and will do everything to bring the best to United. We support you every step of the way. Onwards and upwards keep doing what your doing
How can you not wish him all the success in world after watching this? What a guy.
Marcus is so well grounded! He deserves every success in the future! 😀
Such a stand up guy. I love that he's found success and is using it to bless others. Thrilled for his mom as well ♥️
'yeah 100 percent'...Rashford's favourite statement
Rashy ♥️ Such an amazing person 😊 Proper Manchester United player. Great content as ever Gary 🙂
Marcus Rashford is such a likeable guy. Love him in United ❤
My dads a united fan. Im a palace fan. One thing we always agree on is what a role model marcus is. Hes the same age as me and i can honestly say its such a shame there arent more people like him in the world. Salt of the earth genuine gentleman. Big up yourself marcus youre already a legend in my eyes mate. As always gazza great interview , even more impressive you didn't get injured during head tennis 😂
My favourite Utd Player Bar None, with Bruno, and Licha close behind, So Proud of Marcus
Marcus is so grounded. Love him.
So proud of you Marcus, what a player and most importantly what a Man
Every young man should look up to this young man.🤞🏻👍
Arsenal fan. Rashy is an absolutely top player and person. Imagine being this good at football (for me top 3 left winger in world football) but also being so family and community oriented off the pitch.
What a truly nice decent person. Respect.
I could listen to him all day. What a humble, pleasant and mature young man. All the best Rashford!!!😊
Let’s just take a minute to not only say how amazing rashy is as a person but Gary as an interviewer too it’s like he’s been doing it for 10+ years
What a top young man. Always impressed with Rashfords demeanor and attitude. A true role model for any child.
His family rasied him right. Born and bred homegrown what we was known for. Make United proud Marcus Rashford. Champions journeys are never easy. Theyre praised becuase they pushed through when others would quit.
As a Chelsea supporter rashford comes across very mature and respectfull with a good head on his shoulders.
I admire the respect he has for his mother as that is a key reason to being successful.
Respect bro.
In a world where people constantly take take take it’s nice to see a proper human being.
Top man Rashy
I’m so happy that my little brother can watch Rashford for the next 5/6 years.
he was a beast last season..need it again this season
35 or 40
Mentality monster right there.
I could hear that over and over and I can't stop smiling.
His mom raised him well. I hope he will influence youngsters at ManU for many years to come!
Marcus is such a beautiful person and he and his siblings were raised by an absolute Queen. x
Such a likeable and switched on guy.
As a Man United fan this is me trying to not be biased. But, this is one of the best episodes of the overlap! I absolutely love it! Gary Neville has brought me more joy than I can ever imagine on and off the pitch! Absolute legend ❤
He’s going to have a big season this year. That purple patch he went on was world class just needs to keep it
He will end up. Only being on the bench. We have better ability and better football 1Q wingers
He played well for 2 months, chill
@@donnykirr30 goals
That was to get that new 350K p/w contract 🤣🤡
World class / maybe sneaks in England team as 11th pick out of the 11
Tomatoe/ tomato
This lad has been blessed with a fantastic talent, but many are, the difference is he's worked hard to get the best out of himself. On his social work outside of football, I can't think of enough positive words to say about the lad. Anyone who critizes what he does has big problems as far as I'm concerned. What a top lad he is, everyone who has anything to do with him must be rightly proud of his achievements already. I feel there's a lot more to come from him going forward. Doesn't matter who you support & I'm not a Utd fan.
You've got to respect what he is & what he does.
One of the Best Marcus Rashford....!
After CR ... Rashford is my hero love u man
Not being able to sleep because of every single little sound sleeping in my own house for the first time is very recognizable 😂😂 what a wonderful interview and person Marcus is. Love from The Netherlands Sir Marcus ❤
Rashford should be a role model to all kids an young ones getting into football especially.. he’s maturity his mentality is levels unlike certain players he can take discipline an move on from it without an fuss or issues this lad is class man!! Wish him all the best GGMU
Such a grounded lad. Very close to being world class after last season.
United supporter... since Gary was coming through. Marcus, you are a credit to our football club and, more importantly, our country
Love Rashyy!! ❤
Overlap... Class.
I loved Neville as a player but wow I love him even more as an interviewer
Great interview by Gary and Respect to Marcus 👊🏾👏🏾
Top footballer, even better guy. It's wild to me that some people take every opportunity to try and pull him down. One of the best things to ever happen to United & England - on and off the pitch
Word 😎
Gary Neville giggling like a child during head tennis 😂 I loved it.
Also, this young man is special, it's a pleasure to listen to him speak. He seems like a very thoughtful, compassionate person ❤
Absolutely a great player on and off the pitch. This guy will be one of the greatest in utd history. Also, the behind the scenes things this guy does is incredible. Not only for the club but for all greater Manchester, and uk!Thank you rashford
Love Marcus… he sums up everything our club is. Proud! 🥰
A great athlete. A great sportsman always wanting to improve. A great role model with a very humble attitude. A great human being.
No matter what club you support, you genuinely can't not like Marcus.
Rashford is such a great guy. So much respect for what he’s done
Not to sound like my Dad and I hate giving Man Utd players praise 😂but what a fantastic young selfless man … he is sheer class on and off the pitch , his mum must be beyond proud …
Lot of Respect for this young man. Wish you nothing but the best in his life and his career. Greetings from🇨🇻
He seems like a genuinely good lad.
This is the mentality. Hardwork & dedication. Top player.
Arsenal fan, but think this geezer is class! Football aside, how he comes across he seems a top lad, head on straight and even when the media have tried to break him down he's come out on top. Would love him in North London but it's wicked to see Rashers back to his best for the football community
Can't help but take to the lad incredibly humble and down to earth. Wise head for one so young doesn't get caught up in all the hype and drama. Just keeps his head down and works hard at improving his game. Very likeable lad on and off the pitch
Been waiting for this for so long!
It's here!
Ima Liverpool fan and i love seeing this man do well. Hope he has a great rest of his career
He might be the most level headed 25 year old I’ve seen.
