Dior Sauvage Elixir has been the talk of the town in the fragrance community since its release by Dior in 2021. Glad to hear you say you wear it at work with close co workers and they don’t get put off by the strength. I was worried about that with this fragrance since I wear fragrances at work.
That's one of the first things I like to do, other than letting my wife smell whatever I get, is wearing it to work and see how people around me feel about it in close quarters. And I can definitely say that ironically compared to what people online have said about this fragrance, I've only had people absolutely love it. And also they definitely made it clear to me that it's not bothersome. I actually had the same thing happen at the gym recently, I slipped up mentally and wore it when I went to the gym and I actually was really self-conscious about it haha but instead the person on the machine next to me complimented me. So I definitely say if you are looking into it, go for it it's an amazing smell pay it and lastly thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video
Hey Guys!! This is Huggy/Jess, Andrew's wife. I wanted to add (since my opinion was very well mentioned) that the particular reason why I did not come to like Savage parfum was because I couldn't help but think it smelled like barbasol shaving cream 😂 He would spray it without me knowing... And try it many times because he truly didn't think it smelled that way. And yet, I would say it every time..... This is the shaving cream one. Lol. The elixir really is completely different and I agree that it smells like cinnamon mixed with lavender...... Kind of hard to picture, but it's like a medium masculine scent that makes me think of being near the woods at night & having a quiet amber colored bonfire. Do you ever think that scents relate to colors? I picture black, dark sage, and dark terracotta with a little shimmer like the stars of a midnight sky. A really handsome, grounding scent. I definitely hug him extra long with this one on hahaha.
Oh, i love you so much, my Huggy baby. And I'm so thankful you support the videos I do. I can't wait for you to be in some with your perfumes and stuff. But I agree at the end of the day the parfum Just wasn't all that, not compared to this.
I really like your confidence, I bought the elixir like 3 months ago (2024 batch and the performance was so disappointing, it was barely a skin scent) so the reformulation is real sadly because it smells really good
So that's definitely something I should have thought to mention (batch mumbers), because I honestly haven't even looked at what date mine was. Since I get a lot of my Fragrances from Fragrancenet.com, it could be anything haha. But that is a big shame if that's so because it's a truly lovely scent.
I 100% agree. I asked my wife again to check out each of my fragrances and tell me honestly her favorite and what she loves as my main one, and again it comes back to this one. I'm sure a much older version may not have been so welcoming. But it's amazing

I have a question dear Andrew.....actually 2 questions .....first : would ya say there could be a difference in performance between a 60 ml and a 100 ml bottle?....I am gonna buy the big bottle, but some people say it is not as strong as the 60 ml !!!! It doesn't make any sense to me , but this is the word on the street!.....and question 2 : how many hours would you say this scent is noticable ( by others ! ) around you ? I mean with 4 full sprays how long do you think it is going to be noticed by others ? ....i don't care about a skin scent that is not noticed by others !!!! And finally thanks in advance for answering my questions...hope to see a lot of reviews from ya.....there is sth about you that makes me feel I am watching a FRIEND giving his honest review about a product he has bought , not a sponsered youtuber who has been gifted a product to review.....and at the end : do a review on terre d'hermes please......i wanna have your opinion on it......thanks !
First of all, that means so much to me for you to say all of that, I can't even begin to tell you how much that made my day. Thank you, truly my friend. Second, I've heard and read a lot that a smaller bottle can lead to a stronger concentration, or at least it can cause it to potentially macerate quicker with less alcohol overall content. But that could just be myth or theories. I have had small bottles of some fragrances and the 6.7oz of the same and they perform equally. As for sauvage elixir, I have the largest bottle, 3.4 and after another two weeks since first use, it has performed excellently. With just three sprays, it'll last all day and with pretty good projection (about a foot and a half to two feet) With five sprays or so on the pulse points and shirt, it goes and goes. So I say get whatever size you won't, but if you end up loving the scent, it'll become a new favorite buddy.
I want these videos to be just like talking to a friend about it and getting honest thoughts, so I'm so grateful to know it is feeling that way. Again, thank you so much, other than the videos I've already posted, I definitely will keep it up, and when I can, I'll be sure to buy the one you suggested, or at least a sample and give it a review. But yeah, as for the bottle sizes changing the strength, I'm no professional, but that just hasn't been my experience, and I have over 15 fragrances so far in my collection
Ok , maybe you are not a professional , but then again WHO IS???? ... the other youtubers ???!!!!!!.........I accidentaly saw your channel and got really intrested in the way you talk about fragrances....no fancy word.....no snubbish niche fragrance talk.....no 3000 fragrance collection that nobody knows where they have come from ? .....you are just a dude ( a handsome one that is!!!!) ...who has bought a fragrance with his OWN MONEY and right now is talking about it....this is exactly like asking a friend to give their opinion about sth they have bought.. and about your answer....thanks buddy....i am gonna trust ya and buy a big bottle.....i completely agree with you about different sizes being the same.....the only thing is when sauvage elixir got released in 2021 .....it was only in one size and that was 60 ml.....it took Dior about one and a half year to come up with a 100 ml bottle ....because of this some people say the bigger bottles ( the newer ones) are different and weaker juice....anyway good luck with your channel....i can't wait to see you review your other fragrances....!!!!

This is hands down the most powerful fragrance i have applied. This beat the 6 Nasomatto i have tried and Amouage black iris man. Iykyk. Just wanted to share this side of the spectrum that results truly do vary. Though, everyone i know had the same experience as me.
That is awesome, and I definitely can say after a couple of more wears since this video was made that it truly does last all day long into the next day special on clothing. It doesn't blast 20 ft away like some people want to think it does, but it has gotten me honestly more compliments than almost anything outside on at this point especially at work. @@DouglasMoonFragrance i do not recommend the Nasomatto. Those are for the truly inquisitive. Get some 1ml samples if you would like, but that brand is interesting. Put it this way, Nasomatto translates to "Crazy Nose" Black Iris is a good one. It is the heaviest fragrance from Amouage imo and that is saying a lot. I would only wear it for a date night in the Winter. Again, definitely try a little sample when you get the chance.
