Also if you want to unlock sooga you go back to that level and when the blade master sacrificed get to the end of the water platform outposts and go back and the gate will re open and you go save him. Also do not let anyone die. Then when the blights appear you should be able to play as sooga

Honestly, now I kinda feel bad for Sooga. Sure he was trying to help resurrected an evil spirit, but he had no idea how bad it would get. He repayed Master Kohga by saving his life, who took him in and helped him. I might not be so annoying to the yiga in botw 2 if they make a return.
