Alaska's BUSIEST Airport: The BEST of Anchorage Plane Spotting (ANC/PANC)
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 9 ก.ค. 2024
- Welcome to Anchorage, Alaska; a cargo super hub! Anchorage is 3rd busiest cargo airport in the world; 2nd in North America.
This strategically placed airport provides an excellent technical stop for mainly cargo aircraft that connect North America with Asia. Anchorage is also a hub for FedEx, UPS, Atlas Air along with others.
This winter spotting was quite interesting with a very low cloud layer, deicing and beautiful sunlight; this trip had it all!

Klasse Video ✈️✈️✈️✈️👍👍👍👍
Marvelous DC-6
4:44 goosebumps when seeing two queens in one shot. Personally, I love UPS and FedEx liveries on cargo planes (except on MD-11s). I wish UPS still kept the "Synchronizing the world of commerce" text on their livery to rival with FedEx's "The World On Time".
Kalitta has a pretty cool livery as well!
Awesome video! I loved that up close MD-11 at 34:30 taxiing past you!
Love the sound of that DC6 😍
The DC-6 was the absolute highlight, great video!
Epic video dude! Loved the DC-6A take-off, what a beauty. Well done!!
I spent a lot of time on the hill alongside runway 33 across from the cargo terminals plane spotting in ‘08 and ‘09. Lots of good pics and memories.
Wow I have the model of the final 747 ever built-N863GT she is the queen!I gotta visit Anchorage someday to see 747s before it’s too late.
I was stationed in Alaska when I was in the US Air Force and flew into both Anchorage Airport and Elmendorf AFB. Both busy places.
747 everywhere!!! love it
Espetacular!!❤
What a fantastic video man! Epic catches! Liked!
This is terrific - thank you!
Well this was about as close to being the perfect spotting video as you'll get. What a place. How cold was it 😂
Beautiful excellent footage❤
beautiful snowy airport and nice plane spotting
Wonderfull View and Moment
Well done, my friend 😎👍 one of my very favorite airports and you captured it beautifully.
Awesome video Mark 👍
JUST AWESOME WORK . Enjoying this amazing footage here in Connecticut with a beer in my hand and 16 degrees outside... and subscribed too as of now. Thank you
Went to ANC in Sept 23 already want to go back - maybe not in winter. Thanks for sharing Mark
DC6 Old Rocker never dies. 🤘😎🤘
Very nice capture😀 Greetings from Japan 😀
Great Video. Was last in ANC was 2005
Very impressive video
Excellent video Mark, wont go short on 747s here. The polar 777 was like a rocket, hope you had a heated jacket on you sounded ever so cold mate.
Nice to see the Maddog
As a pilot it would have to be Everts I`d want to fly for! They have the cool craft! Great footage.
WOW I Love this one and it looks like the busiest Airport for Cargo that I have ever see?
Great video. N863GT 👍🏻
14:01 DC-6 Pilot wave!!
any flights that go to or from Europe anymore also how much de-ice fluid do they go thru in a season plus cant forget what a great video
nice video bud.
I know the pilot(Captain) who fly the A330F MAS Air Cargo. (He has a channel)
Since MAS only operate two A330s. and he just flew in and out of of Anchorage to Zhengzhou very recently.
So that was probably him. That's cool.
1:39 this was the last 747 ever produced
The first plane a 747-8Fi is the last production model of the 747-8 ever it has a special emblem below the pilots window showing "Joe Sutter" and "The Incredibles" for the engineers who produced the Boeing 747 jet series a I craft.
abs fantastic footage, watching from London England & loving it,def 747 heaven
Isn't Aloha air cargo a long way away from home?
There's one thing missing from this video............ can anyone guess what it is???🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Edit: its here once but that's Not ENOUGH!!!!!!
The door from a 737max?
Just stop
@@Maurin67😆😂
I could be wrong but my answer is that these were mostly cargo aircraft..there weren't a lot of passenger jets.
You need to advertise the clothing brands that your wearing to film this i am sure you could get some sponsorship👍
You guys are from where!
Holy Balls!
If I had known you were out in that cold weather! I would have brought you down my motorhome!
Great shots!
Those LA pussies run from the cold!
Tons of respect, great coverage!
We are just a gas station!!!
keep them coming!
What was the temperature like out there when you were filming there? I bet you almost freezed to death. But its for the content though.
November 18 & 19 2023 temps where high of approx 16 f and low of 3°f.
Currently in Anchorage we have had a multiple day stretch of high temperature remaining below zero, so these temps sound like a heater wave right now
I assume one reason Anchorage is so busy it is mainly just a refueling stop ?
Yep
Alaskan would have to be one of the very few operators still ordering new planes with wig-wags.
The hell are those
@@hehepro4832
10:29, 11:49, 25:55, 28:53, 45:00
The alternating runway & landing lights. They're called wigwags.
@@mitchul👏👏👌
I have a question,
Why does Anchorage have most Cargo jets flying aroun 🤔
Because it is a good halfway point between Asia and the lower 48. If you flew direct from Asia to the lower 48, you'll need more fuel and sacrifice cargo.
@TB-um1xz oh thanks, btw like my comment please!
The audio quality is too good.
No Airbus 😂
A takeoff only airport. No planes ever land here...
