Anchorage, the best and most spectacular airport in the world with all those wide- body legends, 747s, MD11s, 777s in a beautiful scenario. Thank you for this great video.
In a time and era when 10 year old A380’s are being retired, it’s great to see that somewhere in the world, nearly fifty year old workhorses are going by! It was even rarer to see what happened at 13:08! Great catches Matt!
It’s because airline manufactures have failed to design new aircraft suitable for heavy cargo loads. Airbus thought they were going to seize the 747 market with the A280 as they retired but they failed to design it to be cargo friendly and only about 60% of the fuselage could be used to haul freight. A lot of companies are now preordering 777X to replace 747s and MD11s instead
Was there in the terminal for 50 min. Saw 4 747 land, 3 takeoff. 1 FedEx 777. 1 Lindell C130, 6 airliners, the 747 Dreamliner hauler. Thinking of moving there. The action is incredible.
Can’t believe it, the good old DC-3 is still not retiring, it’s been 79 years, Im glad to see it, also you’re very lucky, not many DC-3s are flying now.
ice711 i love ur vids man, as someone who lives in anchorage i can tell you theres a road that goes behind runway 15 to a beach and a trail, if you keep doing down the road, you will get to the side of the runway
As always tip top settings presentation and the filming edition captured absolutely spectacular gorgeous and beautiful shooting and you nailed it again Sir .. respect your hard work and your beautiful upload, million thanks again for sharing another spectacular beautiful footage compilation .. keep rocking my friend .. N781SN Western Global about 18:53 -- is that a hole in the fuselage below the right horizontal stabilizer? PS - thanks for catching N489MC, N743CK and N713CK!
13:07 The Western Global Airlinens MD-11 right engine got a flame out😮 Some FOD is going trough the engine while still in reverser...maybe a bird or a tool?
Love this airport and the scenery, but love the fact you can hear and see the planes more, the 747, A380, A320 are my favourites to watch and hear ❤👍 more please 🙏

I'm a simple man. I see MD 11, I click the video.
Great minds think alike
Same as me, my all-time favourite plane alongside the DC10🤩
The FedEx MD-11 sure had an interesting landing roll-out. He pulled the nose back up after opening the TRs.
for cargo flights, it is always 747
The amount of Jumbo’s is impressive at the airport.
Very much so!
Anchorage is a cargo hub so you can expect that from something like that
I love the MD11… always have, loved every minute of this
MD-11 is not beautiful.
The fact that it was also fed ex
Reminds me of the md11 fedex flight that crashed on landing.
for cargo flights, it is always 747

Do you know why the FedEx MD-11 lifted his nose gear up after touchdown? Aerodynamic braking or something?
3:18 that’s the BT-67 Basler (Turbine version of DC-3)
Good work, brother!
Appreciated!
I love UPS trucks & planes 🤎🤎🤎
Wonderful video buddy! Liked!
Thanks a lot!
I’m a planespotter but I never seen an MD11. You can be so happy 😢😂
Gorgeous 😍
Thank you!
4:59.....Those GENX engines actually make that 747 look kinda small, I mean aren't they about the size of a city bus?
Awesome video!
They're not quite as long as a city bus...maybe a short school bus...
DC-3❤

Did anyone notice the flame out of the engine on western global MD-11
And several static discharges from the number 2 engine cowling to the runway a few seconds before that.
Love this airport and the scenery, but love the fact you can hear and see the planes more, the 747, A380, A320 are my favourites to watch and hear ❤👍 more please 🙏
No worries! Thanks!
Great!
Thanks!
Wow that was weird, first arrival of the video the fedex md11 put the nose down than put it back
Up for aerodynamic braking
13:09 is that a flame from engine!?

Raynair in America?
That has to be the softest Ryan Air landing ever.
Like butter!
Next video at Honolulu Hawaii Airport
1:35 Ryanair butter?
Ryanair Cargo 1:20
The first one looked very similar
0:11 that bounce gave me a heart attack
Not a lot of passenger movements at Anchorage then..
