I think technically this one is called the "Wondwort" and not "Woundwort". I didn't realize until I looked at the packaging of my box lol such an odd subtle name difference.
Personally, I'd say screw mistranslations, since the original Gundam TR-6 has also been retconned to being called the "Wondwart" because of the continued misspelling by the official sources despite being called the Woundwort before. (Hell, I won't trust that people who don't even know how to spell "drum" to stick with names pulled from a made-up language)
so bandai opened up the preorders again for this kit, and i realized it comes with spare yellow parts for the woundwort torso and thigh, which coincidentally just what the leftovers from the hyzantley ii rah needed to build an extra woundwort torso and 2 thighs
The blade flips back completely like the GN Sword of the Exia. They couldn't replicate that in HG despite the many times they implemented the Composite Shield Booster into kits
I ignored this kit the very first time it was released. On it's second reissue, I still ignored it. Only during it's third reissue (which is actually NOW) did I finally relent and ordered two pieces for myself. I hope I don't regret it...
@@mj2005gundam even better, cause I like comparing things, btw, since I own the Pale Rider Cavalry, I noticed it has a lot of stickers, and I think got the kind of blue marker just for most of the parts, plus the grey marker too.
The review i wanted on my birthday ty so much MJ ty. The nubs were dangerous especially on side of head and the shield holding. Sadly they didn't do anything for the shield. The hands are hell on mine. Really need a better version in mg
@@mj2005gundam yeah aoz suits are non euclidean by nature haha, but since they did a bunch of new parts here the could have include the ones from TR-1 Hyzenthlay rah(though those also dont make any sense since nothing every implied the blade could telescope lol, but still a better explanation than it just disappearing)
I got this pre-ordered and since I want to transform it im gonna make the legs the normal woundwort legs but keep the psycho blade head cause lets be real that is a sexy looking head
Can the expansion joint parts be used with the HG GM II limbs, there is a TR6 concept in aoz using GM arms and legs except they're all white so was wondering if the GM II could be used for it
I do not have the HG GM II myself, but based on the manual scans, I can say that the limb parts will work to create the Gundam TR-6 [GM II] with the expansion parts that come with the PB Hazel. Just gotta pick the right ones

Hi MJ! Do you think the recently announced P-bandai Aqua-Hambrabi II add-on kit can fit the original TR-6 Woundwort? Since I kinda prefer that kit to this one, thanks!
@@mj2005gundam it's not all bad always happy to have more woundworts and that new face sculpt is pretty cool just have to hunt down the barzam. No one ever said this was an inexpensive hobby that's for sure 😅
I don't tend to use them, especially not for the way they should be used like weathering and shading. I do have an orange one that I use to paint in orange vents, that worked well. But for a more comprehensive look into how they're used for weathering and shading, it's better to look at tutorials

Honestly I think the Hazenthley Rah II has the better V-Fin. Sure it's blocky and less detailed, but it feels more solid (maybe a bit less prone to breaking too) and it his those conservative yet exquisite angles expected of a traditional double v-fin much more closely while also having a good go at an angel v-fin On the other hand, I get that the Psychoblade one is trying to be accurate to the art, but the sculpt seems flimsy, undefined, and unfinished in spite of its aspirations to the concept art. Where the v-fin is concerned, it feels like the usual HG efforts--even pbandai HG--falls short of getting it right and lands a foot in a gunpla uncanny valley. They should have given that at least an RG touch. That all said, I much prefer a well-executed compromise over an attempt that falls short of perfection. Because it reminds me of badly executed film CGI.
We just can't have it all, can we? They compromise sculpting detail for the HG tag. Hey, at least they used a better gold compared to, let's say, the HG Phenex or HG Hyaku Shiki. I like the styling of the TR-6 one better, that's all
Their MS development has impacted the future of MSs in the UC, especially in the Gryps War, but the rabbit warren of designs specifically made for AoZ:FoT and Reboot can easily be treated as its own pocket dimension within the UC.

I think the TR-1 Hyzenthlay has such parts, but the Composite Shield Booster and its many gimmicks do not really make any sense practically speaking

Gundam Rose and the Woundwort are shipped on different months. I got the kit, now we all just have to be patient
