Thanks for the shout-out !!! Great video! Man, I'm so glad you made the trip! Had a blast riding and hanging once again as we have back during the 250r rides! Sorry you had some issues , but still was a blast! Next year, Sandwars and our Creators ride will be even bigger and better, though! We just announced that next year there will be a Duner class!!! Can't wait to ride again, bro!
2 Stroke racing... much more problemage. That's pretty much it. When you have a superpowered 2 stroke the problems increase exponentially. It sucks but it's physics.
Not trying to be a wise ass but leaning out your tune in no way I can fathom would destroy anything in that area of the engine even if the crank sheared off the flywheel there would have had to be an existing fracture. Correct, like I said I am not trying to be like I know everything I am just trying either make sure I understood the situation of parts failure or I am trying t learn something. I have had little experience with Banshees but my best friend started drag racing sled with an 84 Phazer then moved onto a 96 V-Max 4 which is an 800 cc actually it’s two Banshee engines coupled together in a Sled. They were heavy and a little sluggish stock but my boy still owned it and has a 100% progressive timing and nitrous system. He hooks his laptop up to it on the ice and it runs four flat slide carbs not EFI so it is a trip to watch him plug his computer into dinosaur of a sled thank god you only need enough travel to keep it right side up drag racing because that’s about all the suspension that thing has ever had anyway.
get a pvl ignition instead of the original crap. I have had many different ignitions on my machine. hpi, pwl selettra/malossi/italkat... all them have a better ignition map. vs stock. I currently have vape ignition on my suzuki t250

I will definetely look into that, im lucky ive had a good run with the stock equipment!
OEM Banshee stator and flywheel is the go to for racing. Best performance and lasts forever if taken care of.
