I was just explaining “analysis paralysis” to a friend yesterday. Cool projects and Wisconsin cheese flavored cutting compound just might be the next big thing.
Two gems from HF that I bought were the 2HP Dust Collector and the 12" Disc Sander. The Dust Collector is stated at 2 HP, but I would venture to say it's more like a 1 1/2 HP motor. It works great. I upgraded the impeller and am using an Oneida Dust Deputy XL with it. No complaints. The 12" disc sander works well. I wish it had a cast iron table instead of aluminum, but works great non the less.
Good advice…Just start! Remember…it won’t look like a professional knife!!! But it will be something you made with your own hands. And you will get better!!!
This was a good video. Between the teaching of basic knife making and the humor between these two it kept me watching to the end. I wish I had my father's old saw blades when good quality carbon steel was used. Going to try making some small patch knives for muzzle loading soon.
WOW! This is a great use for old saw blades. Plus, it’s a fun bonus with both George and Jimmy in the same video. 👍👊
Looks like a project for this weekend, thanks George and Jimmy!
Liked this project a lot. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing and the encouragement.

Test them on anything like a Ginsu commercial
