Such knifes are everlasting and labour cost will be high. I tried it before. Process was same but lack of tools and equipment could not give such perfect finishing.
I've made some knives from a saw too, but etching them only makes (already very corrosive steel) even more vulnerable. Even when that's something one must be prepared for, I don't recommend etching this type of steel for a kitchen knife use.
I like your work. However, I would be happy to understand how the brass does not not separate from the glue due to the heat created during the grinding Are you using a specific epoxy?
In this case you just have to be careful by checking the temperature of the brass and using coarser grit so that it doesn't melt the epoxy. But I¨ve personally never had any issue with it and I use UHU Plus epoxy
Why is the knife heated with fire? Is it so that it does not break quickly, because the saw from which the knife is made breaks quickly, even though it is strong?
A lot of circular saw blades aren't hard. They have hardened teeth welded onto the outer perimeter. That's why you see a line around the perimeter appx. 1/2" in from the edge.
You can make a smaller knife, and you can totally use a cheap propane torch from the hardware store. The same ones plumbers use to sweat pipes. Be creative and have fun.
Nothing peculiar. No innovation. Sorry but why did you share this video? Anyone with the tools can perform similar end product within two years of experience.

Seems like a bunch of extra work using tools originally bought to make the process easier 🤔.

There is a creepy pasta story about this
A saw blade is already heat treated isn't it? Why heat treat it a second time?

It is very beautiful. Thank you for following my page. I need your help to start working ❤❤

Do it myself? Sure, I'll just go fire up the forge. Don't have a forge? Borrow your neighbors forge.
You got a shovel? A hair dryer? An oven? A forge?

What grit sandpaper?
Why not tell what the liquid you put the blade into or the granules you shook it around in? Not very informative….
BUTY FUL FRIEND
What’s the point of tempering the steel again? Isn’t the saw blade already tempered?

Dope AF results, @edwardknives8692! This would fit right in at a high-end kitchenware catalog/retailer!
