But they do a good amount of stage and classic rock as well. To give you an overview, try out Hoist The Colors (their newest), Queen In 5 minutes, Carry On My Wayward Son, If I Were a Rich Man/Girl, The Little Mermaid Medley and the Moana Medley. And if you're craving more, Boy Bands in 5 minutes. They love their costumes, and never fail to impress. They gave had some lineup changes, but when you've been in a group 20+ years, change happens. The core right now are Geoff Castelucci (bass on par with Avi and Tim), Eli (you'll be tempted to say E-Lie, but think Eli as in LE) is their Baritone, but can cover most parts. Layne is their multitalented beatbox. Cesar is their tenor who stepped in for J None who joined the military. The next thing you should do by Voice Play is Grim Grinning Ghosts (since you like Halloween) and their latest, Hoist the Colors, which is absolutely phenomenal. Everyone is completely blown away by Hoist the Colors. There are two other a capella artists you probably want to check out. Welcome to the Voiceplay rabbit hole! Of the Big 3 groups they're right up there with Pentatonix as my favorite with Home free falling ever so slightly behind. If you want to hear them singing a regular song I definitely recommend "We're Good", "Daddy Sang Bass", and "Man in the Mirror." For more Disney stuff their Little Mermaid medley is pretty incredible and it really lets the remaining members show off their talents with individual solo sessions.

Yep, definitely go back and listen to this with headphones. I did notice you knew the words! Agreed with the previous recommendations for VoicePlay! I have heard of VoicePlayers for the VoicePlay fan base. Pentatonic fan base is Pentaholics (like alcoholic). This one was crazy because of the 4 octave drop by the lead at the end and the others doing the character voices. There are also a lot of unusual sounds - mostly by the beatboxer.
Circle back around to This is Halloween, later. For now, might I suggest My Mother Told Me. It's a viking song, and they kill it. Also, even though they do costumes, they actually sing more naturally. It's really a great next taste.
OK a more normal song of there's Moana Medley featuring Rachel Potter. They're 5 members to the group normally but they have a few members that have left recently. So they have 4 right now and guest artists come in.

dunno how many other comments have mentioned this, but it's a very good idea to get some good bass heavy headphones before you continue watching VP (or any other a capella). it ups the experience tenfold! i'll give you four recs for right now, but i'll be back don't you worry: Moana medley (learn about the group more), carry on wayward son (blast of a cover with a twist, will get you absolutely hooked), true colors (overlooked cover, slow, soft and emotional) and one of their new ones, hoist the colors (their brand of theatrical) i hope to see some more reactions from you!!
We're "VoicePlayas" if you wanna know. If you ever want to return to acapella, they dropped "Valhalla Calling" earlier this year. Let's just say... rap DOES work with acapella, which is something PTX and Home Free wouldn't dare attempt. It takes a brother to make it work! J.None is the feature, he's the guy in Oogie Boogie who says "You're finished!" He left the group in 2021 to serve in the Navy and was replaced by Puerto Rican singer Cesar De La Rosa, but J.None returns when he can as a featured guest. You also get to hear the bass (Geoff="Jeff") sing in his LOW LOW range. They're all really playful in Oogie Boogie, but they get fierce in "Valhalla Calling." 100% recommend it. It broke many reactors.
One extra recommend, not acapella, is the bass Geoff Castellucci who has a solo channel. His version of "Blackbird" by The Beatles shows his wild range (5 octaves!!!) while his cover of "The Sound of Silence" is one of the best I've ever heard, easily ties Disturb's cover... which is really saying a lot. Their version broke me with its raw fierceness, but Geoff's restored my hope in humanity. Anyway, cheers!
Unchained Melody is one they do that isn’t theatrical and is really good, but in order to distinguish themselves from other acapella groups, most of their stuff is very costume/theatrical based. Please don’t let that turn you off from their music.

Welcome to the Voiceplay rabbit hole! Of the Big 3 groups they're right up there with Pentatonix as my favorite with Home free falling ever so slightly behind. If you want to hear them singing a regular song I definitely recommend "We're Good", "Daddy Sang Bass", and "Man in the Mirror." For more Disney stuff their Little Mermaid medley is pretty incredible and it really lets the remaining members show off their talents with individual solo sessions.

Yep, definitely go back and listen to this with headphones. I did notice you knew the words! Agreed with the previous recommendations for VoicePlay! I have heard of VoicePlayers for the VoicePlay fan base. Pentatonic fan base is Pentaholics (like alcoholic). This one was crazy because of the 4 octave drop by the lead at the end and the others doing the character voices. There are also a lot of unusual sounds - mostly by the beatboxer.

dunno how many other comments have mentioned this, but it's a very good idea to get some good bass heavy headphones before you continue watching VP (or any other a capella). it ups the experience tenfold!
i'll give you four recs for right now, but i'll be back don't you worry: Moana medley (learn about the group more), carry on wayward son (blast of a cover with a twist, will get you absolutely hooked), true colors (overlooked cover, slow, soft and emotional) and one of their new ones, hoist the colors (their brand of theatrical)

We're "VoicePlayas" if you wanna know. If you ever want to return to acapella, they dropped "Valhalla Calling" earlier this year. Let's just say... rap DOES work with acapella, which is something PTX and Home Free wouldn't dare attempt. It takes a brother to make it work!
J.None is the feature, he's the guy in Oogie Boogie who says "You're finished!" He left the group in 2021 to serve in the Navy and was replaced by Puerto Rican singer Cesar De La Rosa, but J.None returns when he can as a featured guest. You also get to hear the bass (Geoff="Jeff") sing in his LOW LOW range. They're all really playful in Oogie Boogie, but they get fierce in "Valhalla Calling."
100% recommend it. It broke many reactors.
One extra recommend, not acapella, is the bass Geoff Castellucci who has a solo channel. His version of "Blackbird" by The Beatles shows his wild range (5 octaves!!!) while his cover of "The Sound of Silence" is one of the best I've ever heard, easily ties Disturb's cover... which is really saying a lot. Their version broke me with its raw fierceness, but Geoff's restored my hope in humanity. Anyway, cheers!

Unchained Melody is one they do that isn’t theatrical and is really good, but in order to distinguish themselves from other acapella groups, most of their stuff is very costume/theatrical based. Please don’t let that turn you off from their music.
