Terrific, I'll make sure to smile like a crazy person when someone comes. This sounds a lot better to me as a piano arrangement. Makes me appreciate the song more.
Alex Roe It's nice to know that there are people out there who are willing to make the world a creepier place^^ I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the compliment!
The mimicking of the music box is so appropriately voiced and captures the mood extremely well. The arrangement is beautifully done, guaranteed to be stuck in my head for a while longer now! This and your Majula arrangement are now my favorites to play.
Darren Strand Thank you! I actually looked up some of the harmonical characteristics of music boxes and bells that make them sound like they do, so I guess I have to partly thank the mathematics behind signal analysis for that one^^
With the amount of metal covers of Bloodborne songs I've heard, this is a really nice change of pace. It's still creepy but I think the piano adds an element of tragedy to it as well. Really cool.
+shadowbloke Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy the niche that is Souls piano music. Except for a few videos/themes it really doesn't get the attention it deserves. (I mean the music and its piano arrangements in general, not just my stuff).
I know what you mean. Like Gwyn's theme wasn't what I expected the first time I heard it but the song is so beautiful on a piano, no other instrument I've heard it on really captures the feelings so well.
Dude that shit got to me while i was at the base of the castle cause i thought i was hearing things but when i saw the name "mergos wet nurse" i realsied i as hearing a baby crying that whole time
If you give me a few days lol I'm still relatively new to the violin, so it'll take a little while to get the song decently presentable. But I'll work on it and let you know!
A deep sadness washes over my mind listening to this...I'm reminded of all the poor souls who lost their lives and minds in person of the nightmare and the hunt of things and knowledge no one should know especially humans...and the horror of the hunt
@Kendra Estacado (Mother Of Darkness) I can't reply to you directly for some reason. If you're asking about a link to the sheet music, it can be found here: gamesheetmusic.com/index.php?id=sheets2 (this link is also in the desciption)
Nevermar The lower parts definitely aren't possible (unless you octave-shift them up), but the main melody should be. Although this doesn't say much about the possiblity/price of actually having one made, as prices probably are relative to note length and other factors....I think I'm taking this too seriously^^ Thank you!
Mister Fishington There is already an arrangement for that one: th-cam.com/video/4hzFfhxw8W8/w-d-xo.html and I also don't think it works too well on the piano for the same reason most of bloodbornes soundtrack doesn't: Too many orchestra layers, too much hollywood orchestra effects, too dissonant. At least that's how I see it right now. Maybe someday someone will come along and show me how it's done on sources like this, but until then....sry man :/
Dark Lullaby Of course I don't mind^^ If you send me the sheet music/upload it yourself, I can put a link to it in the description. ...I'm honestly intrigued on how you'd use an orchestra for a piece like this.^^
Dark Lullaby Depending on the size I can do the production part for you if you send me either the MIDI file(s) or the Sibelius project (if you work with Sibelius). I work a lot with MIDI and I think I've gotten at least decent at it, and I dabbled into mixing. Of course you can do all of it youself if you want. I'm just offering the option in case you're struggling with that part.
DrJekyll MrHeil thanks, i put effort on capturing the subtle nuances of the pieces so i notate all the needed dynamics, techniques, etc but when it comes to playback my kontakt instace just ignores them completely, its very annoyiing and takes much time away from composing/arranging
Dark Lullaby That's because kontakt instruments (usually) change their articulations (with strings e.g.: legato, pizz., stacc.) based on keyswitches. (notes on a MIDI-keyboard that aren't used to trigger samples, usually starting from the lowest C on an 88-key keyboard). Let's say you put staccato dots on some notes in Sibelius/your notation software. What happens is only that in the (invisible) MIDI file the note is shortened. But a short legato note is something entirely different from a proper staccato note (with strings at least). The same happens with other articulations. There are many tutorials how to get different kontakt instruments working with Sibelius (so staccato notes actually trigger staccato samples etc.), but I find it to be too much of a hassle (e.g. the dynamics are always far too crude imo.), so I just export the MIDI and work with it in REAPER (the best DAW if you like to customise things, which I do a lot. You can even write code to use in it.) Hope this helps!
Cian Medlar The part from 0:00 to 0:33 has 53 hits of 8 different notes if i counted right just now. If you half that part so it only goes up to 0:17 you have 7 different notes being hit a total of 26 times. (no guarantees btw, maybe someone else can count too, so we can be sure)
did you move it a bit? the intropiece sounds a bit higher than in the game when you use the small soundbox. (I´d like to play it in a game where I only can acess the "base" tones, so not possibly to use # and b to move (I am no English native speakers, I dont have the words but I hope you get what I mean.. So its not possible to play a cis, dis etc..) So would it be possible to transpone the stuff so one can play it on the cdefghac- spectrum?
If you look closely there is a number above the previous violin clefs. The 8 means the notes are shifted up an octave and the 15 means the notes are shifted up two octaves.
All of the music from Bloodborne is so hauntingly beautiful, the piano really does capture this even better than the music box version
+majaimay Glad you like it!
Terrific, I'll make sure to smile like a crazy person when someone comes. This sounds a lot better to me as a piano arrangement. Makes me appreciate the song more.
Alex Roe It's nice to know that there are people out there who are willing to make the world a creepier place^^
I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the compliment!
+DrJekyll MrHeil Man, if you've got Alex Roe's approval, you're damn good for shure!
I wonder if someone could actually put this into a music box now that we have the notes
*spams approval gesture*
The mimicking of the music box is so appropriately voiced and captures the mood extremely well. The arrangement is beautifully done, guaranteed to be stuck in my head for a while longer now! This and your Majula arrangement are now my favorites to play.
Darren Strand Thank you! I actually looked up some of the harmonical characteristics of music boxes and bells that make them sound like they do, so I guess I have to partly thank the mathematics behind signal analysis for that one^^
Really beautiful! Lullaby for Mergo was my favorite track from the Bloodborne OST so i'm glad i found this.
Mine was either The Witch of Hemwick or the Cleric Beast's theme. This is a close second (or third, depending on how you look at it.
With the amount of metal covers of Bloodborne songs I've heard, this is a really nice change of pace. It's still creepy but I think the piano adds an element of tragedy to it as well. Really cool.

Listening to this :I can see her, again, with her bangles, necklaces, long black gloves and her three sets of blades. Thank you: perfect.
This is so immensely beautiful, modest and subtle but works perfectly for what it tries to convey, liked to oblivion
Sounds very odd and creepy and magical and soothing, that feeling u get with a Tim Burton movie.
really brings out the essence of the lullaby
+Jm Nario Thanks!
this song truly sounds demented yet beautiful at the same time... tis time to end your nightmares little mergo.
"Fear the old blood."
'kay, this is going to the Favorites NOW
Thanks!
Well done. This piece will never leave my memory. It makes me think.
Thank you, glad you like it!
Sends a chill down your spine god
*baby crying in the distance*
Dude that shit got to me while i was at the base of the castle cause i thought i was hearing things but when i saw the name "mergos wet nurse" i realsied i as hearing a baby crying that whole time
As if it weren't creepy enough, I'm playing the main line on a violin. And it's ultra creepy that way
+Matthew Roede I can imagine that. ^^
Care to upload a video? I'd like to hear it!
If you give me a few days lol I'm still relatively new to the violin, so it'll take a little while to get the song decently presentable. But I'll work on it and let you know!
+Matthew Roede great, I'm looking forward to it!
did you ever get around to it?
Absolutely refreshing. Love this arrangement. Just as haunting, if not more.
xxreyoxx Thank you!
This could be a part of the original soundtrack. The mood is captured pretty well.
+ceiphren Thank you!
Well that certainly is terrifying.
I love it.
+monsterboy50 Thank you!
This would've been perfect for the credits roll after the secret ending, especially if it started scrolling at 0:35.
It sounds fantastic and it represents perfectly the original track, a really good choice
Seyku Sos Thanks, and don't worry, I will^^
Bold of you to assume i can read enchantment table.
Very nicely done, this gave me the chills. Will be practising this for sure. Can't wait to see more from you!
Agelvik Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful, and very Silent Hill-esque.
Wonderful work!
Must say, this is better than the original.
Fine work!
Thanks!
A deep sadness washes over my mind listening to this...I'm reminded of all the poor souls who lost their lives and minds in person of the nightmare and the hunt of things and knowledge no one should know especially humans...and the horror of the hunt
Excelent arrangement, it sounds waaaaaaaaay better than the original version. :)
Zidane Mina Thank you!

Kendra Mcleod No problem ^^
Very nicely done :D
Hayden Chow Thank you!
I would love if the winter lanterns were in the background as they follow in with a few notes
Sounds so cute and sad at the same time
cockadooodledoo that's interesting, I find it mostly sounds creppy as hell...
not enough without crying baby
May the good blood guide your way, DrJekyll.
+NecromancerSeverus Umbasa.
(thx^^)
I love it!!!
Lucas Tujan Thank you!
DrJekyll MrHeil could you do moonlight butterfly or the Gwindolin theme some day ?
Awesome!
Does anyone else think about snow when you here one of those parts that start at around 2:48
+Bayonetta I don't know about snow, but to me it definitive feels cold. (The temperature kind)
I can see that.
artty snow muffles sound. And the sounds during this part sound muffled/don’t hit as hard. That’s where you’re getting it from
It's probably be too complicated, but The Witch of Hemwick is a great track. Not sure how well it translates to piano, but it's worth a shot IMO.
straight from a horror movie!
I have to learn 1:40 it's absolutely amazing.
I wonder if this song could actually be used in a real music box. Nice work.
Nevermar The lower parts definitely aren't possible (unless you octave-shift them up), but the main melody should be.
Although this doesn't say much about the possiblity/price of actually having one made, as prices probably are relative to note length and other factors....I think I'm taking this too seriously^^

DrJekyll MrHeil Not as seriously as I am right now, after listening to this so many times XD
Hey, could you do a piano arrangement for the final boss theme? First Hunter? No one has yet and it'd make a beautiful piece.
The clowns shoes Well, I don't do requests.
But I'm not going to stop working on an arrangement I've already started because of one either...
Mister Fishington There is already an arrangement for that one:
th-cam.com/video/4hzFfhxw8W8/w-d-xo.html
and I also don't think it works too well on the piano for the same reason most of bloodbornes soundtrack doesn't:

im glad this vid has so many views
Like the dark souls menu had a baby with blood borne
scary but awesome ^^
+Tohka X Kurumi Thanks! ^^
10/10
Would join the hunt again
when are we going to get old hunters arrangements? I'm dying to hear Ludwig and Maria in your style
+elevate07 Do you think santa is coming early this year? Well, I'm not so sure about that....
amazing arrangement as usuall, i might do an orchestral version based on it, if you don´t mind of course
Dark Lullaby Of course I don't mind^^
If you send me the sheet music/upload it yourself, I can put a link to it in the description.
...I'm honestly intrigued on how you'd use an orchestra for a piece like this.^^
DrJekyll MrHeil i can write the arrangement,i´m kinda bad at production but i´ll worry about it when the written part is done
Dark Lullaby Depending on the size I can do the production part for you if you send me either the MIDI file(s) or the Sibelius project (if you work with Sibelius).

Does anyone know how many notes are in this song? I am pricing a music box and I'm not musical so I have no idea.
Cian Medlar The part from 0:00 to 0:33 has 53 hits of 8 different notes if i counted right just now.
If you half that part so it only goes up to 0:17 you have 7 different notes being hit a total of 26 times.

te quedo excelente, haz intentado hacer la bansa sonora de la batalla con el padre gascoigne?. seria muy buena también.
do you happen to have a copy of the sheet music in bass cleft?
DrJekyll MrHeil oh no i was just wondering if you made a copy already for convenience but yes it shouldn't be hard to convert from treble for me
did you move it a bit? the intropiece sounds a bit higher than in the game when you use the small soundbox.

So would it be possible to transpone the stuff so one can play it on the cdefghac- spectrum?
If only I could read notes and not play by sight
does anyone happen to know where I could find a version for cello?
I get recommend tons of childish stuff when i watch this, all because of "Lullaby"
Why are there 2 G clefs early in the 3rd staff? It wasn't different before.
If you look closely there is a number above the previous violin clefs. The 8 means the notes are shifted up an octave and the 15 means the notes are shifted up two octaves.
DrJekyll MrHeil
Oh, i see. thanks! i should've realized how high those notes were
Hello i dont find the sheet on the link you've done 😢 Can you help me ? No Bloodborne in the list 😢
Isn't it in F minor, not in C minor?
Men do bloodborne main theme
i think the pitch is too high on the piano version, atleast for the first part.
too fast ... wait a little ...
