So jealous as forced to retire from Karting. Can't beat myself up like I use to! May do a race or 2 as a track marshal. Did that and raced A+D. It was not boring working turn 1 of a club race!! Did my last 3 years in Briggs Masters and was less stressful behind the wheel rather than standing track side! Even got hit once. A rain race and was getting out of the way but did not factor in that full brakes and rain tires mean nothing on grass!! That only hurt for 3 days! Flying a kart? 6 months of a sore back! With Canadian winter got a 5 month off season to heal up! Good luck for the upcoming season!

@@StahlRacing Found out late was good at something so made the most of it! As a A+D racer I rarely missed the podium. As for the track marshal part was not even looking for the job! The only time I was ever scared was went got 10 minute notice that I was Race Director for the day! At the end of the day it's all about the people! As a kart owner I should have fired my mechanic but he is me! Man I suck at it 😂 Plus barely weighing 140 lbs I have alot of lead bolted to kart. Could have ran Senior but those kids are maniacs!! One a good friend and this year should have been our 4th Montreal GP. Race world thrown into chaos and it sucks.

@@StahlRacing Before I lose the thought I even managed to get fired on my day off! We had Saturday Sunday double header. I worked the Saturday races. Get there on Sunday and track boss beat me to track for the 1at time in 2.5 seasons. He got there about 10 seconds before me. Park my car he walks over to me says good morning I give him a coffee he says " Thanks your late your fired " then walks away! I was to bust laughing to be upset. Took me a year but got him back! We had a night race and during the drivers meeting asked if we could do standing starts! Everyone laughed he looks at me shakes his head no and rested it on railing and could tell by his shoulders he was laughing!! No shortage of fun sitting around a fire and drinking some beers on a Saturday night. One guy snuck up on us wearing a horse head mask thing Holy shit that was funny!! 😁😂
Great to see the growth. Tips for next videos to grow the channel: chassis tuning for l206 (camber/caster depending on track, clutch maintenance, gearing etc), I believe you guys really have a good chance here so stick to it guys.
Thanks for the ideas! we've dabbled with those kinds of videos, we have a clutch maintenance video and tire changing video, but there is definitely more we'd like to do. Just have to find the time :)

Kacys got no excuse about height now. You're fast as can be and just as tall.
Just as a tip for the Birel/ any OTK kart for 206 racing, those karts can be fast as all get out but you have to be absolutely perfect with your line. I use a Tony Kart which is basically a green birel and I finished 2nd it the grands last year in the junior division so the karts are really fast. They also bend a lot easier than your eagle as well.
Need these tracks to open back up for more testingg 🥴

i started mid last year with 206 bought a used kart with a 206 come ot find out it was a shifter chassis but i litteraly just bought a birel yesterday! im so hyped for you guys!

The problem is, Nothing rhymes with Orange. LOL, Glad to see you got sponsored! Now that you only have "eye's for Orange", I've been looking for a frame/roller, but hard to find within my budget. What ever you don't want to keep. ;) It's tough finding a used race kart I can afford.

Hi Sorin, are you ordering a BirelArt or a different chassis? I only have experience with BirelArt's, but when we order them from PSLkarting.com they come with all of that in the box

Had Tony Kart or CRG wanted to sponsor us, that may have been on the table, but BirelART was the one that stepped up. Also, because the BirelART is the best handling kart out there. No cap. This kart won the grands in 3 or 4 different classes. It's truly the best out there. In my 2 race weekend on it, I've started 1st and 2nd and finished 1st and 2nd at the toughest track in the nation. I don't have a bad thing to say about them really.

Quick question, when you guys were running the comet eagle, did you have the ability to adjust the camber and caster? And would you recommend it for a first kart to run L206?
Good questions. First, the Comet Eagle does have the ability to adjust both caster and camber. Second, I have never had an issue with my any Comet Eagle's that I have run (several). But, I will always recommend beginners to run what the most popular/successful chassis at your local club. It makes the learning curve much, much easier and more people will be able to help you out. But don't sleep on these Birel's. They are the real deal.

i am new to karting - how hard are these new karts to assemble?
We figured it out so they aren't THAT complicated haha. The thing is. You look at them and may be overwhelmed at first, but it's simple nuts and bolts at the end of the day. Slightly more complicated than an IKEA table. If you need help, give me a shout and I can walk you through any issues you face.
