This is a very inspiring video, acknowledging the pain and grief, but trying to find purpose in it and move forward. I think it’s very important to acknowledge it as real, especially for those of us who have been gaslit by the medical community.
This is so helpful bc I am lucky enough to work with a RSW who labeled these feelings and symptoms as grief. When doctors saw me and I explained the feeli gs and symptoms they look at me and say that's anxiety and that's how you are hardwired with this disappointed stare that left me feeling embarrassed and ashamed.
Wonderful and highly compassionate discussion. Really elucidates the “sensations” of grief in a tangible and relatable way. We so often describe grief as high peak overwhelm with a life of its own and it comes out of the blue (which is unique). But we don’t relax in it enough to “identify” with the sensations (reptilian brain) as distinct to the feeling (limbic) and the cognitive description. I now wonder if the anxious feelings we experience that we rightly observe as anxiety and fear is bringing forth these peak grief moments (that we don’t identify with). Yes I’ve noted before that it is a 90 second energy cycle for the chemicals to wash through the body but we become befuddled at why the sensation(s) persists. It’s because we latch on, identify with as self, when in fact it is the resistant/terror “experience” of the sensation. This is a post growth opportunity to use a different lens to understand the enormity of grief and its by going through deep loss that we can have had the chance to love (again) so deeply - and i am talking of love and gratitude for ourselves too. Ty Yonit as always + much love💕🙏🙋♀️
Could you please make a video about evening anxiety and the fear of going to sleep/ symptoms being worse while laying down? My symptoms have improved with motion, groceries or walking ect but sitting or laying still is worse. Sometimes I have a good day outside and then I come home lay down and everything is spinning. Somatic tracking while laying down has made my symptoms stronger as well. In a dark room or the in-between stage of falling asleep creates spinning sensations that last as long as I stay laying down. This shift in symptoms has been hard to handle. I’m not sure if others have this issue or if they would find it useful, but I sure would. Thank you
@@TerkaTomkova I'm on month ten, four months ago I was much better, 80% on most days, the pressure in my head was low, the tinnitus and the rocking sensation too, but my doctor thought it was a good idea to do surgery. of nasal septum and turbinates... and everything went well, the cost was to go back in this miserable disorder and now I have hyperacusis and other symptoms. I don't know if it was a good idea. I hope you are well and trust that it will improve. hold there.
@@TerkaTomkova i'm getter better again, i take vitamin D3, magnesium and ginko, check your levels of vitamin D, the mine was 17 iu (insufficient), when the normal is greater than 30.
I have these symptoms also when trying to sleep. Some things that have helped me: having a nightly routine before bed, I sleep with a foam wedge - to keep me in a more upright position, I started using a night light (very dim salt lamp), I listen to a PMR video to go to sleep so I can focus on my breathing and get my mind off my spinning/rocking feeling. Last thing that has helped me is using ice packs on the back of my head (helps with the throbbing pain in my head). I still have to take clonazepam (at least a half) every night to calm my nervous system down. I look forward to the day I don’t have to. I’ve had this for 10 months now-I hope some of these ideas help you.
Do you think this work can apply for neurological conditions? I spoke with a neurologist whom thinks this is permanent. I have other symptoms besides dizziness. Please help Dr yo.
Please start with the course. It is 100% free. Over 10k people have taken it and many of them are in their 20s, 30s and 40s. thesteadycoach.com/free-course
@@SaDex-u5v Keep trying what the Steady Coach suggests. It truely helps. Go day by day but never quit. Rest but get up and try again. You need to feel safe again. Tell yourself you are safe and try another task. I had to rest alot at first. I used a micorwave lavrnder sloth I got on Amazon to give my shoulders and neck warmth and a feeling of calm. River sounds with birds on you tube help. It started one day doing dishes leaning over sink but I refused to ever stop doing dishes. Dr. Yonit has so much good info. I watch it more than once so it sinks in. Take care. I hope you know you are not alone and can get better. I did do some PT at first but now I follow Dr. Yonits advice. Seems to work better than the PT. ❤ you got this!
Sweet Dr.Yo, you’re so sweet and caring in what we are experiencing. We feel your feelings for us. You are our greatest educator and hero!

Wow. I'm so sorry you were dismissed that way. Thank goodness you have a good RSW.

Very interesting Lynn! Or vice versa - maybe some of the anxiety and fear is brought up by the grief, too.
@ ☝️🙏 yess that was the insight too!
