My biggest physical trigger for dizziness comes from my gut.I had A severe gut infection over-prescribed antibiotics, then a botched gut surgery, and ended up with Gastroparesis. Fast forward many years GP gone still ibs, but eating, smelling food, gas and a BM, is a high trigger for my dizziness. It is 24/7 but why then was it 100% gone last Christmas, Day and a day trip to Key West? Dahhh that's obvious! Second my narcissist in my life before they are home its not terrible, when they get home and pick on me wow it goes up! Dahhhh silly, scared brain. I love the TSC and don't know what I would do without this program. It is all the same my symptoms Fibro, IBS, POTS and more but the dizziness is the ugliest. I just want to close my eyes at night particularly and NOT have a circus going on in my eyes anymore! I am working on it everyday and the work DOES work! Gosh it not fun.But Love heals all! xoxo Ava

Most of the time the "trauma" or "triggers" are hidden in the unconscious mind. It doesn't have to be one particular event. In my case its a multitude of events wherein I have repressed emotions or responses because thats the way I have learnt to cope - knowingly or unknowingly . This us especially so if there were patterns in my life. Eg upon reflection with a lifelong friend recently, they commented on a particular relationship in my past where everyone could see I was being controlled, but myself. I only saw it myself when watching a home video of that situation. It was unbelievable that I had repressed all of that just to cope in that situation.
A lot of the times too we don't have to know what it is our unconscious mind as Dr Sarno points out in the Mind Body Prescription, but just to accept that it is.
Great interview, so awesome to see a psychiatrist who is working this way. Thankyou both ❣️

Another great video! It's been a tough morning.. Compared to yesterday...the ups and downs kill me... Trying to figure out what I did different from yesterday...or was anything going on that made this morning feel worse..

Wow, the same experience for me today... So frustrating not having a definitive answer to what is causing it. I know that It's better to accept not knowing, but it's tough. You're not alone. It will get better 👍🏻

Awesome content and brilliant interview yet again Yonit🙏💕 i actually started thinking about this specific work yesterday and well there are never any coincidences😌🦋. Dr Jill Bolte Taylor (a brain anatomist and surviver of a left hemisphere massive stroke - 8 years to recover) has beautiful work around creating a brain huddle for the 4 brain characters (as she calls it). This is truly amazing work consistent with all we talk about. Much love always, Lynn

Hello dr yo, im wondering would you advise me to do vestibular Thearpy after post anxiety attack symptoms and have you seen full recovery from this, I feel so lost but really want to get back to my old life. Thank you

Vestibular rehab is a really good idea when someone has any evidence of a vestibular issue and it's conventionally the first thing that is recommended for PPPD but when someone has a ton of anxiety and panic going on, it can just make that person focus on the symptoms more. It's ok to consider gentle exercises and walking, but best to get an opinion from a vestibular pt on whether you need a structured program.

It’s an interesting concept but I was able to get better by not doing any type of therapy. I think it just depends on the person 🎉🧠 It's just weird because if I had what I call "low moments" of stress, my symptoms never got worse!

Wow, nothing a coincidence right. cause I had liquadate all assets, vehicles, stock, etc. and for the record; I'm not complaining just relating to the situation thats seems more and more sound familiar with the FB support groups I had to join becaus the medical, V.A. center, Aloha House on Maui infact made my blood boil with my Mental Hlth diag. since 1983 when I had to deal with the street culture of Oakland compared to my birth place of Puunene, Maui. Hi. I'm still grateful daily for my Mana with sincere Alohas from the Islands but If it wasn't for my upbringing spending 6 years each on Maui and Hayward, Ca. from @1975-1985. Oh and getting kicked out of 2 high schools in Hayward/Decoto my sophmore year.
