7 months ago, I bought an "Opel Mokka Ultimate". So far I've made 5,328 km. and I am very pleased with it. I'm 64 years old. To date, I have had countless cars: BMW 318i, Alfa Romeo 156, Opel Corsa GSI, Fiat Barchetta, Volvo S40 2.0 D etc. I made hundreds of thousands of kms in Europe. Therefore, I have the opportunity to compare. I am very pleased to have preferred Mokka. It has an easy and enjoyable driving. The interior and exterior design is excellent. The engine has won the "Engine of The Year" award for 4 years. The "Aisin" (Japanese) transmission is one of the best torque converter transmissions in the market. Intellilux LED Matrix headlights are also a wonder of technology. My average fuel consumption, by the way, is 7.6 lt/100km. In my opinion, the only "cons" of this car are: the relatively small luggage compartment, the luggage button is somehow under the fender (ergonomics error), short knee distance of the rear seats and the absence of wireless charging. Apart from that, it is an excellent car.
I was an "Alfista" before buying a 2021 Mokka Ultimate this year and I can really agree with your opinion! They made a huge step forward and put so much effort to fit a good engine and transmission on this car. The english designer Mark Adams is one of the best out there. Don't worry if this car is a mixture of different worldwide brands they made a step forward indeed.
Thanks for the great review, we test drove one two weeks ago and what a quality car so nice to drive. Vauxhall (Opel) have made something that really stands out from the crowd. Just got to wait 8 weeks for ours to arrive 😁
We were lucky there was a Mokka ultimate Nav in the factory in the UK in red with black roof and mirrors, we only have to wait a maximum of 3 weeks for ours. 😊👍🏻
@@SDADanCars I can't decide between opel Mokka and VW Tcross...can you help me with that ? I am opting for the automatic transmission also the safety features
Perfect review, thank you. If you had to choose between the specific Opel Mokka model and the Ford Puma St-Line X, which would you choose? I am very confused as to what my choice should be!!! Thank you.
Coucou! Thanks for the review. Est ce qu’il y’a des lumières d’ambiance à l’intérieur de cette Mokka? Un peu comme les nouvelles Mercedes où tu peux changer de couleur manuellement
Love the car. Unfortunately had a problem , the car stopped when the 40 mile petrol warning comes on and turns out had a faulty fuel pump. Looking forward to getting my car back
Does this package has a seat massage? Also, great review, thank you, I have mine in arrival and can't wait. Big suprise for me was option to manage the gear manually!
Good review, thank you! A question, which may not get answered, but I am about to buy a car and would like to know some opinions. I could get a Mokka 2021 1.2 turbo elite, petrol or a Mercedes GLA 180 Urban Edition also petrol. Normally I would go with the GLA since it's Mercedes and it should represent comfort while driving, but this video made me think if I should get a better deal with something newer for the same money. Any suggestion?
Thank you from Devon in the UK 🇬🇧 😊 I have the new 1.2 Petrol Mokka Ultimate Nav arriving in the next 3 weeks, I will keep mine in Eco mode too so I get best economy. When I test drove it I loved the up high feeling being able to see right over the bonnet/hood, I understand that you said about feeling big on the road, you feel like you're in a much higher up vehicle. I could sense your excitement about this Mokka, I'm not sure what the difference is between the Opal you test drove, and the one I'm getting the Ultimate Nav? Great video and much appreciated I'm even more excited now! 😀 x
Thanks for you reviews, they are fun to watch and informative :) i have to tell you, i also tested a Mokka couple of days before and i just wasnt as impressed. I felt like it was a bit of a hassle to enter the front doors and even more a hassle in the backseat part. There was really small space in the back. I just felt cösustrofobic in a sence in the Mokka and the infotainment system was not to my liking, maybe thats because im not used to opel cars.
So 31200 francs is 28400 euros, what's wrong with prices in Switzerland? Same model, same Gs Line is 22800 euros in Estonia for example, and base model starts even from 16000 with manual.
Hi, very nice review thanks a lot! I 'm going to buy this or the 2008. Can you compare the suspension confort between this mokka with 18'' rims vs the 2008 with the 17'' rims that you drove?? Thanks in advance!!
@@SDADanCars Thanks a lot for the quick reply. The problem with the Greek Variants of the Mokka, is that they offer Adaptive Cruise only in Ultimate so you can't get the GS Line if you want it. So its a bit compromise with the 18'' wheels. Also, Gs line is much more pretty with black inserts instead of the nickels in front. Thanks Again!!!!
i bought mine before 3 days same like this on on the video Gs line 1,2 130 ps and the fuel consumption around the city is around 6.0 - 6.1 pretty good i would say.
We already have a very good order book for the new Opel Mokka. Thus we have recently made some improvements to better meet customer demand and compensate delivery constraints.
@@Opel Hi there from sunny Greece! I ordered the entry-level Edition 100hp 6MT in late February. When should I expect to have the car in my hands? Thanks in advance for replying promptly and btw congrats on the new Mokka, it's stunning!
@@Opel Well.......I did bought it. Hope it will arrive until Christmas. Man said that he will keep me informed about progress. If you really are Opel guy, then explain me why dont you deliver cars with winter tires during winter period? Summer tires are a problem here, during winter. As they are in yours too.
