Seven months ago I bought an "Opel Mokka Ultimate" and I am very pleased with it. I'm 64 years old. To date, I have had countless cars: BMW 318i, Alfa Romeo 156, Opel Corsa GSI, Fiat Barchetta, Volvo S40 2.0 D etc. I made hundreds of thousands of km. in Europe. Therefore, I have the opportunity to compare. I am very pleased to have preferred Mokka. It is very stylish. It has an easy and enjoyable driving. Very responsive car. The interior and exterior design is excellent. Engine-gearbox harmony and safety equipments are great. I recommend it to those who do not have children, though.
Hi I've got a vauxhall mokka ultimate 136 on order. However I had to look inside of the vauxhall GS range in the showroom. Does the vaxhuall ultimate still have the black headliner like the GS version?
I bought this Mokka a week ago (white with black roof and red line). I fell in love with it the minute I saw it! took it for a test drive and never looked back! absolutely loving it, so many features....so much to still learn but oh my word, what a car!! Well done Opel.
Great video buddy, thanks. I live on the Isle of Wight, England. Here in the U.K. we call the Opels , Vauxhall, but you can buy the Opel if you want, but they are identical. We bought the last model (mark 1), and had it for 5 years, it never let us down at all. So, the past February we bought 2 Mokka's, my wife's exactly the same as the car you tested. Mine is also the ultimate, but in blue with a 6 speed manual gearbox. I echo your synopsis of this very eye catching compact SUV. The 1.2 litre, 3 cylinder turbo-charged engine is fantastic, very nippy with a top speed of 125 mph. I can say that this car is without doubt the best car I have owned (I am 73). It is a pleasure to drive the cars, and will no doubt buy the mark 3 next.
The price I personally think suits the car. You can most definitely feel and see the quality of the Mokka, and with all the features and more...I think its a good price. We looked at other cars within the same price range, but did not have all the safely features, not even a seat warmer and back massage which the Mokka has!
Service is longer than warranty because the SA law changed. If you service your car at a local mechanic instead of the at the dealership they are no longer allowed to void your warranty. SO ! SA dealerships responded by reducing the warranty period from 5 years to 3 years and extending service plans from 3 years to 5 years. This is what most dealerships did but not all. Previously owners would have to service at dealerships to maintain warranty so for 2 years most people went to dealerships. Considering the excellent service we receive at MBG Automotive in Brackenfell I can see why dealerships don't want you to find good out of network options :)
I really loved testing the Mokka. It was my first time spending time with an Opel product and while there are some downsides to the new Mokka, it’s a very good product overall 💚
I don't think that would last very long (or look very good) with road grime etc. splashing up against that part of the car. The matte plastic is a lot better/more durable 🙂
The price is way too high when you consider the limited space. You can get a top specced Haval Jolion for 410k with all the bells and whistles. Opel lost their god damn mind

Agreed. The Mokka is a great car! But not very practical for families with children…

The Mokka really is one of the best products Opel has put out in a very long time. Congrats on your new car!

I have an identical green microfibre cloth in my new Mokka that’s been a crucial feature since I got it for my green Corsa back in 2012!
Just ordered yesterday a Mokka ultimate fully electric and I love the looks of it and the drive. Thanks Dean for another awesome video
Beautiful car indeed with beautiful color ....green ,red or yellow does it for me❤
Had mine a few weeks now couldn’t be happier …
Happy to hear that! And congrats on your new wheels 🥳🤩

Tell me you’re South African without telling me you’re South African 😝
Excellent review, you have a nice delivery and style. 👍. Can you remember what the fuel economy was, as I am looking at the auto?
Thank you.
Great review. Great presentation. Thanks
Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊
I love this car, I wanna buy it but no sunroof killed me😭😭😭
Me too ☹️
My too. But then I arose like a Phoenix - and bought the car. ❤

I suppose that could also be one of the reasons...👀
It is value for money bro, compared to other brands such as VW
That’s right. Against the new Taigo & facelifted T-Roc, the Mokka is most definitely substantially more affordable 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
This car suits you so much!!!!

Feels like GS should have shiney black bumpers too (instead of the matt plastic that's there)? at least the wheel arches and sides man XD

First!
OMW love you babes!
Thank you for the love! 🙌🏻😇
Order mine the 1.2 turbo auto 130bhp the ultimate so leather seats getting it August cant wait 🎉

WET belt!
Can't wait for ur VW taigo review 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃😂
Hoping to be able to get my hands on some VW videos soon!
how much is this car I love I think I must go for it
What is the use of buying an AUV which is not a 4WD?
The new Mokka is an urban crossover and not suited for any intense off-roading, so it’s perfectly fine being a two-wheel-drive 😉
Does it come with a manual gearbox transmission?
Not that I’m aware of. Only auto at this stage 😊
Thanks for watching! ✨

This is true. The Chinese automakers are offering astoundingly good value for money at the moment! 👌🏻
It's pretty
Is it bad that I prefer my 2016 Mokka Turbo Cosmo? 😂
Not at all. My personal car is a 2014 model and I love my car! As they say, to each their own (or something like that) 😜

This car is packed with technology but the prices don’t make sense. South Africans love value for money. At R500,000 we’d buy a bigger Haval H6
