So very sad. I just I just watched a documentary about when the Palestinians lived in Jaffa and took such great pride in it. For a people to lose their land, to be evicted so cruelly and now to be suffering so. I'm not even from there but it hurt my heart to see the Clock Tower that the Palestinians were so proud of.. will they never reclaim their homeland? They have been dealt a very harsh hand.😊
Israel did fight Palestine ( from the Hebrew word pleesha = invasion) but the brits who took the land from the Turks who took the land from the Muslims who took the land from the Christians and then Muslims again and then there were the Romans who took the land from the Jews - the rightful owners in the Name Of Our God!
It is called YAFA and not Jafa. It is Palestinian city and part of Palestine. All the old buildings in YAFA were build and owned by Palestinian families before the occupation in 1948.
