  • With David Hyman, professional tour guide. The stars of this video are five residents of Tel Aviv, who are also faculty members at Tel Aviv University. The video tour was recorded as part of an online zoom conference that they hosted at their faculty. Many many thanks to Yair, Amit, Dana, Dana, and of course Lynn. We toured Old Jaffa, the port, the narrow streets, and the Church of Sanit Peter. Then we visited the picturesque neighborhood of Neve Tsedek and the Susanne Delal center. From there we continued to the heart of Tel Aviv - Rothchild boulevard and the first homes of the city, including the home of Mair Dizengoff, known today as Independence Hall. The best place for lunch was to visit Carmel Market and try all the great street food and tasty treats. We ended with an inspiring visit to Tel Aviv University.

I lived on the corner of Allenby and Geula streets and I used to love strolling through that artists market on Fridays.

I spent days on the beach at the different bars. I stay at Momo’s Hostel. No a proud moment in my life but I gotta tell you, very rememberable!! Favorite city on Earth outside Jerusalem/Boston, USA. 💞

    Hi, David,
I can't express my pleasure in seeing Tel Aviv in peace like this.
I believe memory serves me right that my first hearing of Tel Aviv was on the evening news back around the 1980-1990's. I remember black outs and bombing raids at night -- as I still see it in my memory.
Do I have the right place?
My thanks to you and your friends for the tour and the connections to scripture.
    God bless all of you.

Hi Linda, I think you are referring to 1991, during Desert Storm against Sadam and Iraq, Tel Aviv was under Skud Rocket attack. I remember that winter well, as I was drafted with my IDF reserve unit . Thanks for watching and take care

Thank you for helping me with that info, David. Glad you survived that war. We were covering Israel and our USA military in prayer, and rejoiced in God's salvation.
