yes, some people have different hair textures in different parts of their head, that can happen because of your genetics so one part of your hair could be 4c and the other 3c or 4a , so that’s more than likely what’s happening for ur case , you can try using a different products for the back of your hair vs the front

Compressed hair is normal you’re good. Wearing a durag or bonnet is good tho keep doing that and don’t worry that’s what happens to your hair normally if it’s thicker. I have the same hair type

Use two different leave in conditioners. Never heard that before. After my hair dries, I will apply oil to it.
if you have long hair part your hair and apply in sections use a leave in conditioner or gel for a stronger hold and longer curls

I have 4c hair and it’s just so hard to make it curly I use a lot of conditioner and I put some curl cream but it still isn’t as curly as I want it.
I got 4b/4c hair, I promise you don’t need more than 3 products for curls. Shampoo, conditioner, and gel
