I just cut my dreads off and been wavin for like 2 months now and just cut my wolf off to start fresh on my hair growth journey.

Learned this stuff the past 2 years with my little boy he has some beautiful curls and momma has straight hair so I started and constantly learning, and improving his routine and he loves his curls they are mid back when pulled straight and just about the shoulder with all the shrinkage! Step 1 grow your hair at least 5in before attempting this if you hair isn't growing its because your not protecting it or your picking your hair out when it's dry.
What do you suggest in the meantime? Just pick out, wolf etc?
@@CGTripleD the deep conditioning help me a lot his deep conditioning product worked wonders for me I just couldn't get over the inconsistency with the smell and texture it wasn't the same every time but I digress . Regular deep conditioning and combing your hair outwhile in the shower will help your hair with moisture and can change the texture of your hair kinda like when you train your hair to be wavy. His curl cream didn't work for me the end result was flakes I use prose a custom hair regiment design specifically for me and my hair type I went from a 4b texture to like a 3c

Be honest tho. Cuz most niggas watching this dont moisturize there enough for this shit to work. The first u do it you’ll only see a few curls. My hair was borderline damaged when I started my curl journey. After about a week of a daily curl routine, I saw results similar to this video. It took about a month or so for there to be tight curls all over my head. All I’m saying is that this shit takes time for most people.

I like this but I don’t like the fact that the curl cream/leave in conditioner is still in your head and when you walk outside to go somewhere you gonna have a lot of people judging you for having a bunch of white stuff in your hair. This is one of the reasons I recently stepped back from using leave in conditioners frequently .
Leave in Conditioner is essential. I mean it will dry sooner or later? Don’t let other people get into your head. Your hair is YOUR business okay? No one has the right to say something about your hair. Do what’s best for it and take good care of it xoxo

When untangling the hair, can you use a normal Afro pick or does it have to be similar to the one you use in the video ?
The EZ detangler brush is easier when your hair is longer but an Afro pick is cool
Idk how people manage to hold their curls, I do this everyday, literally. Except adding conditioner, I completely soak, run my fingers throughly through to kinda detangle and help water get in my hair and then I just shake, my curls come out exactly like this, just I need to do it everyday and it doesn't hold form. Maybe it's cause I don't wear a Bonnet but idk

After I’m done I have a lot of white stuff in my head and it doesn’t dry off so what do I do?
That means one of the products doesnt mix well with the other. They are clashing basically. Search on TH-cam product mix test. It will help you figure out if the products will flake or not. You essentially take a little bit of the gel, conditioner or what ever your using and mix them on your hand. If they easily sort of disappear into each other then you'll be good to go. If they get clumpy or refuse to mix well... you'll have issues when your style dries.

@@isaiahnorris13 for me i either dont apply much product when i try to get it curly, or if i want to wear it out the night before i will let the curl cream soak in my hair and then wash it out, then wake up go under the shower and shake my hair , and it will get curly without residue, and ill just apply gel

I suggest try a hot towel, thats what I do since i can't afford a blow dryer. Make sure to have a shower cap on.
