Why my hair end look red
Aye what's that haircut style
1- Don't detangle or comb ur hair when it's wet. Instead, do it when it's damp with product OR when you are in the shower(Detangle when conditioning not when using shampoo)
2- Washing with shampoo too often
3-Not moisturizing/properly conditioning your hair
4-Detangle properly and take ur time with it
5-Using styles that are too tight
Thanks 🙏🏾

yea bc i only feel safe brushing/combing under RUNNING water. It takes no time & theres wayyy less breakage.
He's right about hair being weakest when wet but textured hair is still very vulnerable to breakage when detangled dry. Personally, I make sure my hair is damp and then I add a lot of conditioner as a friction buffer and detangle in the shower lol
W comment
Yeah I really hate how he explained that point, since it makes it sound like you should dry comb/pick your hair, which is arguably THE single worst thing you could ever do to your hair for growth, as it literally breaks and tears out hair that was not ready to fall out.
@@caribbeancam brings me to tears when I hear or see somebody trying to comb or pick dry hair bro
@@Boo-ro7vo literally bro yiiiikes. You can hear that sound of the hair just ripping and being destroyed too 😭
@@Boo-ro7vo 😅😅❤❤❤❤❤p
Highly disagree with 1st one, wet hair is very elastic, there's very little chance of breakage...but dry hair on the other hand breaks easily even with the littlest tension
I feel like it depends on your hair and it’s thickness. I have pretty thin hair and I find more hair on the brush when my hairs wet than dry
Especially when you have kinky hair. I'm gonna stick to detangling when it's wet, thank you very much.

Same thank you for the advice@@kodycore
@@kodycore Even though his advice works for me, it’s not gonna work for everybody. I also have kinky hair but slightly damp hair is the sweet spot for me. If too wet, I find more breakage.

I can't detangle my hair dry. It will literally snap and break off! That ish don't work for everybody. Do what works best for you people!
I’ll detangle mine wet. I’ve seen evidence that way that works and it works for me 🤷♂️.
Comb it after a shower but dry it with your towel so your hair will be damp and you can comb it. just no way I'm doing that when it's completely dry
@@ManMan-zj8sw dont dry ur hair with a comb thats what causes terrible frizz

Yes, I do like your video. I'm in the process of trying to grow my Hair, using Onion Juice mixed With Garlic. Of, I think it's necessary to when after applying the Onion Juice, Two to Three times a week to a least rinse out Onion Juice from Hair.
This depends on the hair type. My hair is very strong and has been through a lot over the years and is still very long. I’m still gentle with it though, which means I DO detangle my hair when wet, especially when I immediately get out of the shower, or else it’ll dry up and tangle on itself and that’ll REALLY damage my hair much more than detangling when it’s wet. Let’s be realistic. As long as I’m gentle and patient it’s fine. Now, I refuse to detangle while IN the shower because my shower routine is long enough without adding unnecessary steps to it. And that’s too much manipulation anyway. Next point, I use both a comb AND brush when doing my hair. The comb makes it easier to detangle before I brush through the rest. I’ve never washed my hair every day, not even when I was younger. Conditioner doesn’t clean hair, that’s why it’s called “conditioner”. I have no choice but to take my time with my hair, my hair isn’t straight and smooth. It’s kinky, thick and long. I’m not a fan of ponytails and buns, I prefer twists or braids. Besides, I can’t even put my hair into a bun anymore, at least not in its natural state.
Same I pick out my hair every couple of days because of I don't it makes very difficult to pick out I basically switch off between picking out and sometimes days not touching it or just hand manipulation you have to do what's best for your hair
agreed
Then how in the world do we keep our hair from looking messed up when we wake up in the morning??
Thank you 🙏🏽
Stop growth checking. Hair is growing all the time. Depends on the phase it is in. Wash with conditioner stop flat ironing, use pressing comb lightly. Sulfur 8 is a most. Jamican castor oil 2x weekly on ends an scalp. Be very patient. And use protective style. Discovery your on regimen.

I use dandruff+ detangle shampoo and i plat it until it dries. Works perfectly. And then AFTER and only after do i even put a comb to it. Add my moisturizer of choice and only the moisturizer no oils/clensers ect. And now im ready to start my style of choice. Works for me.
what moisturizer do you use

what detangler shampoo do u use if u dont mind me asking
Just brush your hair with when you use conditioner and take a little of time for tangle
I have try to stop all this 5 habit that causes hair damage but my biggest problem is the coming, i don't no if I can stop that habit. am trying but my type is get tangled a lot but I will try my best❤❤👍

I’ll detangle my hair wet or damp. Works for me so that’s what I’ll do.

Quick question. How often should I do a deep conditioning, I mainly aim for 1 week and idk if that's too little. That's the day I usually shampoo as well, at least once or twice a week.
thats fine
I like your hair bro….your so cool ❤
Wassup Kozact, I hope you’re good today, and I hope you see this. What’s a good routine for cornrows to maximize growth, now that I have them in? I have 4C hair, my scalp doesn’t really get dry like it used to since I implemented good hair care. Everyone keeps saying moisturizing, but what does that look like? I’m looking to make these last for at least a mont and a half.
Id recommend only applying oil to ur scalp only during the duration of your braids.. if you want them to last as long as possible, the best thing to do is to try to touch them as little as possible, to moisturize them you would just apply oil to your scalp and work it into each of your braids gently
since your scalp doesn’t really get very dry
You can apply the oil less often so instead of every other day, you could try to apply it every three or four days, or, however, often you feel is necessary,
And of course you would sleep with a durag secure to your head, allowing as little movement as possible , I usually keep my cornrows in for at least a month and during that time usually won’t wash my hair until I take them out.
I find that washing your hair very easily shortens the life of your braids ,
And of course, whenever you get braids, you want to make sure the stylist is very neat and skilled
Doing this, I find that my braids last a lot longer than it usually would with any other routine

I hot combed my hair and cut it and haven't seen growth or my hair is growing very slow, I may have heat damage or have burnt the hair follicle. What do I do?
bro talking facts
What should I put in my hair to help it detangle easier kozact
My hair getting so long & I have beautiful curls but if I don’t brush or comb for a day or 2 it starts freeforming. Causing so much pain & breakage I really don’t want to go bald again. 😹 I have good hair genetics but it’s tough to keep up with type 4 hair
How often should I wash my hair while trying to grow it?
I've been growing my hair for 3 months and 14 days, is it ok for water to get on my hair if I shower everyday ?
I'm so done with you in the beginning 🤣🤣🤣
i don't wanna stop combing and brushing my hair when it's wet because my hair hurts when i comb or brush it when it's dry and i lose more hair when i comb or brush my thick afro hair when it's dry everyone hair is difference what may work for you may not work for someone else but i don't mind finger detangling when it's dry or wet by taking my time it doesn't matter if i finger detangle my hair when it's dry or wet first before i comb or brush my hair when it's wet spray water on my hair
and it's hard for me to brush and comb my hair when it's dry too
Any tips for freeform dreads??
Is it bad to wash your hair or like “rinse” your hair everyday with just water?
How often to moisturize your hair?
Yo kozact, what should I do if my hair uneven because I’m 14 but the back of my hair is bigger than the front of my hair, I think it’s because lack of protein and water but please and I don’t know if I should trim it or cut it completely and start over.
I haven't used shampoo on my hair for years. I actually hardly wash my hair cause I live near the beach and I'm in the ocean a lot, so the salt water acts as a exfoliating agent and cleans your hair naturally. I just moisturize my hair once in a while with olive oil, honey or coconut oil. And when I do wash my hair I use vinegar or a lime recipe I got online
I haven't used products in my hair for a long time, only natural products i make myself, and my hair is pretty strong and healthy! People have been using these natural methods for thousands of years to treat their hair. Can't go wrong !
Bro is capping so nice, hair be strong asf when it wet you can’t even cut it correctly when wet because it’s much stronger, your hair breaks when it’s dry so your hair is most vulnerable when dry
I wanna ask before all them oils and those hair product what them African just use to get that rich beautiful hair
Weren't you on 5k yesterday!?!?!
The beginning how he says all those mean words about how bad doing that stuff
Hi Kozact is it ok if im detangling while my hair is wet but i have conditioner in my hair while im detangling i shampoo then after that i put conditioner in my hair while its still we then detangle is that fine
So what am I supposed too do when I take my two stands out in our want them done again am I not supposed too comb it out too get the length back too have them redone?
I cut my hair yesterday am ah see how this goes
My grandma and mom just don't understand what im trying to do all they do is comb it and it hurts my hair and im ngl i hate combing my hair all it do is make it puffy mot curly at all

what are some good oils for culr haie
So how often to wash your hair? Once a week?
When I blow dry my hair it grows from like 3-4 inches to like 10-12 or something crazy like that. Any way to maintain that length or at least style it to a curly pattern? The moment it touches anything wet it shrinks way back down, which is sad af
No it’s not sad it actually means your hair is healthy and shows good elasticity. Not in all cases, but I won’t assume it to be a negative thing automatically.
So we can’t comb /pick our hair?
We can’t wet it ? What can we do?
Thanks!
You’re always welcome Mr. Salt, and thank you so much for the super Thanks. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I really appreciate you
I have pretty short 4c hair but my breakage is INSANE like every time I comb, pick, or even touch my hair tiny little bits of hair fall out any tips?
stop dry picking, you're not supposed to ever bring a comb to your hair when it's dry, it literally breaks and tears out hair that was not ready to fall out. wet detangling is wayyyyyy safer than dry but your best bet is to apply leave-in while your hair is damp and comb it out with a detangling brush. also protective styles help; get some braids or something so your hair can grow while safely tucked away and not actually tangling and needing to be broken to comb through.
You lose 100 strands a day bruh you good
I searched up combing hair while wet and its ok
OMG, I can't cope with my hair. It's 3C but so dense. I can't control it, it does what it wants to do. Should I just accept that his it is or is there something I can do to make it easier to manage without having to straighten it? Also I've noticed my edges are getting so dry
You forgot to mention not wearing a Hair bonnet whilst sleeping because again it could cause breakage in the hair unless you have a silk pillow instead 😊
First bad habit threw me, my breakage always concerned me but I never knew it’s because it was wet!
I wash my hair like twice a week and I do sports
A good leave in condition is blue magic!
Kinky hair cannot be detangle dry!

Also ive been picking out my hair for a few months is my hair damaged or will it be able to grow still?
Make sure your hair is wet when you pick it out
it worked
Idk why I believe that is a lot harder to damage afro hair than straight hair, I'm saying this because I have long straight hair and it's frizzy with split ends... I had dreadlocks a year ago and I believe that they damaged my hair pretty much because before dreads I didn't have the frizz problem

the first one is super wrong you can pick detangle your hair when it is wet, it actually prevents brakeage and thinning
Can I rinse my hair everyday?
So can I brush my hair an also this is my 2nd week using wild growth oil
But if I don't wash my hair, with shampoo, after two days it becomes itchy and those tiny browny dust particles form. So what am I suppose to do?
You might have dermatitis. I have it on my scalp and it does that
