Thank you for sharing your knowledge and recipes to make our pets healthier. I just bought AllProvide and am also learning how to make these recipes. Can I gently cook this recipe like your puploaf?
One more thing, this recipe is served raw due to ground bone. If you can FINELY grind bones at home, this recipe can be gently cooked. If not, replace bone content with another source of minerals.
I have a wood element cat, what would I do for him. I know that only a small amount of vegetables are recommended for cats so what could I feed instead? Love all your videos thanks so much for educating me each time I see a new as well as older videos ❤❤
Thank you, Dr. Judy, for all your wisdom and teaching. What kind of meat grinder do you use? I have 4 GSD, and I'm starting the raw diet journey. I appreciate you so much! ❤
Thank you so much Dr Judy. Can I cook this? The pork liver and turkey with bones can this be substituted? My fur baby has a weak liver and thyroid. Again thank u so much
This recipe should be served raw due to ground bone. If you can FINELY grind bones at home, this recipe can be gently cooked. If not, replace bone content with another source of minerals. You can always substitute with other proteins if your pet is allergic to certain meats.
Good morning, may I ask which meat/bone grinder you have? I am in the process of researching grinders to make raw food easier at home and I want to get the correct one for bones. Thank you! CW
I’m about to graduate vet assistant college and once I get a good job that pays well I want to switch to raw my pup is 9 months old I hope this will help her over all health (not that she isn’t healthy but u know what I mean) can I follow this recipe to a T?
1 more question Dr. Judy. I have seen your video on kidney recipes for cats. You gave 2 recipes in that video. Wood a wood element cat do well on either of them.❤❤
This particular recipe is for dogs only. But if you are only referring to the cat kidney recipe, both of those are balanced diets for cats even if they do not have kidney issues
Hi Doc, update on Allie, she went back to the big vet hospital in Houston this week as an emergency, and they said her gall bladder is dramatically enlarged, they think infected, and full of sludge and they're afraid it's going to rupture. She's getting it out Monday. If she lives through all this and the Cushings, what can i give her ( and feed her) that will not be contraindicated for the Cushings and hall bladder/liver issues?❤
Are the All Provide Element diets lightly cooked??? If bot...how do you suggest lightly cooking it? My girl has high liver alt and has had high bile acids so I want to gently cook her foods.
Hi Doc- I've got a little white Scottie, Allie, that's 10 1/2, dealing with an enlarged liver and Cushings- I do natural medicine for both myself and the dogs whenever possible and she's eating a grass fed/ free range organic whole food diet that's ketogenic( with me) with collagen, glucosamine/ chondroitin/msm. I started giving her Denamarin a few months ago but it doesn't seem to be helping. The Cushings symptoms have gotten worse and I recently started her on Cushaway( melatonin/phosphatidylserine/ lignans/ probiotic) and Adrenal Harmony Gold( herbal tincture with ashwaganda, milk thistle, and a bunch of other stuff) and she taking a Standard Process canine hepatic formula that's both herbal and glandular. The specialists want to put her on a blood thinner( they saw blood clots in the lungs on the ct scan) and Trilostane for the Cushings, but after doing some research, I'm really concerned about both of those. I can't use the natural products with the blood thinner and her poor liver is already enlarged, I can only imagine what the Trilostane would do to it, not to mention it was pulled from the market for humans for adverse reactions and according to what I read, there's a 1 in 25 chance of death, which is NOT a good ratio! She's sitting here with a castor oil pack on her tummy as I'm typing this😊 I've also got a glucometer and check her glucose every couple weeks, so far it's in normal range. I just want to cry when I look at her sad little eyes and I don't know what else to do for her😢 They said her adrenals and pituitary are enlarged, but they don't see a tumor, which really makes no sense to me, given that's the catalyst for Cushings, but she sure has the symptoms- especially excessive hunger and thirst. She just looks depressed and like she doesn't feel good quite a lot now and I'm trying to find ANYTHING else that could possibly help her! I know it will take the herbs a little bit to work, they don't bring the cortisol levels down fast like Trilostane, is there ANYTHING else you think I should look into that could help her? At what point should I think about trying the Trilostane if at all? Thank you❤❤❤

My dog is allergic to turkey chicken anything with feathers, pork and beef. Fish and lamb is about all protein wise she can eat. So this wood recipe wouldnt work for her.
@@DrJudyMorgan Thank you, my dog unfortunately was one of the dogs sickened by Primal. Her alk phos levels have come down since I changed foods, but my vet said her liver may never completely heal. I have had her on milk thistle for months, now taking a break from it and see how she reacts. I despise these pet food makers.
Every living thing has a species appropriate diet. All the vets at the zoo know this- your local vet knows it too, they just get a kickback from Science Diet to push their kibble! Dogs are carnivores- facultative carnivores, meaning they can eat things other than meat if there's no meat to eat, but they don't thrive on it. In the wild, without human intervention, dogs kill and eat prey animals. Usually those prey animals are herbivorous- the only carbohydrates or plants that the dog is getting from that is the stomach contents of the prey animal. If you can't rely on common sense on this topic, you can definitely find a lot of information on the internet- just Google it, you'll find hours of interesting and educational information❤ OH, by the way, the modern concept of kibble has only been around for about 100 years- it started with a guy who saw stray dogs eating the throwaway hard tack biscuits that the factory tossed out, and realized he could make money with them, so invented the dog biscuit. Then canned dog food came along after canning in metal cans gained popularity, but during WWII, there was a metal shortage and the metal for the cans was being used for the war effort, so the dog food companies had to find a way to make the food last a LONG time and not require a can- thus kibble was invented.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful wisdom with us for free! I wish I could go to your event in Orlando!❤🥹 I know this is off-topic, but I hope you can help me: I live in FL have a 60lb dog my vet said I have to give the recommended dose of MilbeGuard which is 23mg of milbemycin for dogs up to 100lb. It seems to me like too much for my dog! Could I get away with giving half the dose? My vet won’t prescribe a lower dose even when I asked, she insisted on the full one. Would that still be effective enough?
Love your generous sharing, Dr ❤❤❤
Love how u explain. Wold like more info about this, grean subjet

It ok to eat all those different food in one meal? How long should they stay on it? Does it help to lower liver enzymes?
This is a balanced diet and can be given to any dog, not just ones in need of liver & gallbladder support.

If you buy from AllProvide, all the constitution diets are gently cooked.

Do we serve this raw or cook it ?

Can this be baked in the oven then served. My dog doesn't do raw.
You can always gently cook the food. I talk about how here: th-cam.com/video/udzMZn_oNUE/w-d-xo.html

I read if a dog has liver disease they shouldnt have organ from an animal. Is this true? My has it. They are doing more test in him.
The food doesn’t need to be cooked?
Is this a raw food recipe?
