I appreciate very much your review of this instrument. Finally, someone who provided the samples of the organ, beside the piano, the two features I am interested in the most. Your explanation of each feature is so clear, making it easy to understand rather than overwhelming for beginner. Thank you again for your wonderful review.
I'm SO glad to hear that our video was helpful! I wasn't receiving notifications about comments on this video so I apologize for a late reply but I so appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment! - Josh
Mine has a problem with the harpsichord sounds. Every time you use them after playing for a little bit and error code shows up and you have to restart the keyboard. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thank you for watching! That piece is an arrangement of "My Favorite Things" that I came up with when I was taking jazz piano lessons. It's more of me improvising than an actual arrangement but I'm glad you enjoyed it :) - Josh
Hi Josh, thank you for your review of the DGX670. I bought a DGX 670 in January 2023. At the time, I tried, without success, to access Yamaha Inc., via the links supplord in the manual supplied. I was forced to give up as I found Yamaha South Africa impossible to access. I was wanting to access digital sheet music as I haven't played regularly for about 40 years. I can read music for the right hand, but given that I was taught on an electronic organ, my tutors supplied sheet music but with the chords written as ABCDEFG, etc. So this is the sheet music that I am trying to access. Are you able to send me any links ? [As you are aware, the DGX 670 allows users to play chords single-lingered & as held triads for lazy users. It is the sheet music that users need to access] Thanks if you are able to guide me]
Hello and thank you for watching! I won't be able to curate options for sheet music right now but I will put it on my list to follow up with you about. For now, what you are looking for are called "Lead Sheets." Lead Sheets will give you a melody for the right hand and chord symbols. There are lead sheets for most songs these days so try searching and let me know how you're doing. Have a great day! - Josh
Hi Josh, thank very much you for your prompt reply. Given that I now know that what i was looking for is called, Lead Sheet Music, I have selected some modern sheet music to print. Going to the print shop tomorrow.
HEY! Awesome to hear from someone near our store! Thank you for taking the time to watch. Absolutely feel welcome to stop in. Be sure to find Matt, he manages the piano department for our Sioux Falls location! - Josh
I don't think this is possible. We record audio two different ways: 1. Direct line out of the piano into a mixer and then into our recording software 2. Condensor mics into the mixer and into our recording software. We then mix audio and video in post-production and I believe this to be the most common way of creating video content. It would be very nice to connect a phone and have audio/video easily mixed using a phone camera but I don't think this is possible. However, it sure would be nice on our end too! -Josh
@@orcharddweller1109 How do you connect your phone for recording using your phone with the PSREW310? This isn't something I have done but I'm curious to learn now that you have both mentioned it! I have always taken audio out separately through a mixer and into a DAW. I then combine video and audio in post. If there is a way to get a great signal from the keyboard directly into our phones I want to learn this as well. I will do some digging too! Thank you for watching! - Josh
Hi! I actually use the audio out feature and run the audio directly into my camera. Do you have a DGX-670 and looking to do this for recordings? - Josh
@@PopplersMusic what cables did you use to do this and what if you wanted to sing and play? How would you set that up to record good quality vocals and piano? 😊

According to other revierwers, this speaker set is just good - you can put an iPhone mic over the speaker and it'd still come out decent.

watta talk!
It's good, but the keyboard is very weak. Why do they include 15-year-old technology? This is such a sad GHS poor kid's piano.
