I‘ve been listening to 'don't know why' for so long, it feels great to hear from Norah and Conan together on broadcast.

It might seem wrong for Conan to sign Trigger but ultimately, if Willie wants you to sign it then you sign it. Whoever he chooses to sign it becomes part of the history of Trigger and those Willie wants to be on it. People might say it devalues it. But as long as it's Willie's wish it won't affect anything. Now if he passed away and someone got ahold of it and started adding signatures then that would be a different story. He'll probably be buried with it so nothing really matters what happens to it.

It doesn't seem wrong. Willie asked him. That was Conan being humble you dork lol. Conan is one of the greatest comedians/writers of all time and they go way back. Of course he'd sign it.

I don’t really know Norah Jones, and when she was referencing her musician dad, I googled her. And this musician dad she speaks of is… Ravi Shankar?! Really underplaying that fact, though I’m sure she’s had to deal with that enough.

One time Willie Nelson went to Ramstein Air Force Base for a USO tour with Robin Williams and some other people. My friend worked for base services and drove Willie to go get food. My friend was wearing an oilers hat and Willie Nelson traded him his cowboy hat for the oilers hat.

I saw Norah play with Charlie Hunter about 20 years ago. Interesting to hear her say she doesn't think she's good at jazz.

This is funny to hear them talking about Casey Kasem's meltdown. The experimental band, Negativland made an amazing album out of that and samples of U2. It wasn't a promotion of U2. haha!

    Norah,
You can't hang with jazz musicians?
    Ummmm i think ya can.
    Bill Frisell?
    Tony Sherr?
    Brian Blade?
That's the top of the mountain darling
I would definitely love to hear more of her history ❤

Whoa! That is NOT the Norah Jones I remember from "Don't know why." Of course, that was twenty years ago.
It won her a truckload of Grammys.

Yes indeed, thats her. I know...right? Where the hell has this wonderful woman been hiding???😳.
She is one of the most underrated great Artists/Singers of the last 2 decades....especially LIVE!!. But atleast she was recognized by the album sales and critical acclaim, including the Grammy's (Back then when they meant something. Now they just give them to anyone who is popular, or who can buy their way to one🙄). "Come Away With Me" is still one of my favourite "Easy Listening" Albums. It was a constant presence in my early 20's when i'd just moved to London, whenever i wanted put on chilled music, whether i was cooking, cleaning, sleeping or generally just relaxing, i'd play it on repeat back-to-front. I also remember downloading a version of it (remember KAZAA? 😜), live in New Orleans, and it sounded even more spectacular, LIVE!!. "Cold Cold Heart" and "I've Got To See You Again" live, were breathtaking! This has brought back wonderful gowing up memories 😍

Omg I hope Norah did not do what my son did - announce on the first day of school each year that you live in 2 houses because your parents are broken up and never got married. We have no idea why he felt the need to do this, and he doesn't remember lol...

I'm not big on jazz. I think it has to do with my more mathematical, analytical, mechanical brain. Like, I think it's the fact that jazz is not symmetrical in a music sense, and I tend to really enjoy the symmetry.
