I can't express how thrilled I am for your podcast!!! I missed your talk show so much and then your brilliant self popped up on line. I love you♡ You have been and still are my favorite comedian!!!
Norah is quite possibly in the top 5 greatest guests. Shes an absolute gem and I love that shes a fan like the rest of us. Her hiking interview with Kevin was great too!
I absolutely love Norah Jones, she's so soothing to the soul, and rubbing elbows with famous ppl she's so comfortable just rolling with the conversation. She's so beautiful as well
When the discussion turned towards the Rolling Stones, I was surprised that Nora didn't bring up the time she sang "Wild Horses" with Keith Richards in a live concert. It's worth looking up on TH-cam.
As a Tennessean I can say without reservation that Dolly Parton is the only person that makes me remotely proud of my home state when the "leadership" in Nashville continues to make us an international embarrassment.
I from a TN, and like all of us, Dolly is great. And a great ambassador for the state. However, I’m proud of where I’m from because of the people, the states natural beauty, and the musical heritage it has. Politicians have no effect on how I feel about it.
@@MrAdamloring1985 As a lifelong texan i share their feelings. My state would be so much better if it wasnt being run into the ground by ignorant soulless psychos.
I'm soo with Matt on "Creepin' In"! Goddamn I love that song. The whole record is dear to my heart, but that song especially was a huge influence for me when I became a fan of Country music. It's just such a great song!
My drama teacher had a big crush on Norah. A lot of the students would mention she wasn't writing those songs. His response was a simple "I don't care" I think on top of her musical talents she is quite funny. Loved her cameo in Ted. She bounces off of Connan and the team well
@@xploration1437 you're aware there is the option of like, not listening to something, and letting people otherwise enjoy that thing they like, right? 🤔
When did Dolly become beloved? When I was in elementary school in the 90s, she was considered some country bumpkin inflated with silicone. Now she's a national treasure? Also, to be clear, that description wasn't my opinion. I was merely saying what my classmates thought of her. I have no strong opinions one way or the other. Anyway, yeah, what changed? Or was she always revered, and my classmates were douchebags?
"Let me explain..."
"Awww, man!"
That really sums up the Conan/Sona dynamic.
I love how every time Conan says "let me explain," Sona throws a fit like a teenager being forced to listen to a dad lecture.

I think that in the long run, this format here will end up being the "truest" version of Conan's comedic brilliance. Very glad you are doing these!

Norah is just an amazing person. Completely forces you to be in a good mood. Hopefully she gets Anoushka on her podcast.
Now, every time Conan goes to JFK and walks through that spot where he bumped into Paul Rudd, the "Mac & Me" clip starts automatically.
Norah is so cool. Love that she’s a fellow fangirl too

Norah Jones is of one the sweetest, loveliest people on the planet
Yes she is awesome
norah was so sweet, love it when the celebs are big fan of the podcasts like kaley cuoco and julie bowen
This interview was fantastic!
5:35 "Yeah, there's been a lot of Popes... but there's only one Dolly Parton!" 🤣 So true.
Conan's brain is on fire in this segment! Some very funny quick-witted quips.

This was a great interview 👏 👍
Conan is the best man, TV or TH-cam, I don’t care.
In addition to everything else, Dolly Parton has got to be top 5 most gifted songwriters of any genre.
Accurate.
She’s not ready yet lol 😂
Conan is the only one who name drops and it never feels like a flex.
I wouldn’t have confessed but you brought it up 😂😂😂😂😂
Dolly Parton is such a legend, and the 9-5 song is amazing.
Hamstrung... late night TV hamstrung you. I’m sorry it took this long for the technology to catch up with you. Sona and Matt are a blessing.
PLEASE PLEAS team coco, get dolly on this pod!!!

Nothing better than seeing Dolly sing with The Metal God Rob Halford at the RRHOF.
I'd love to see Norah re-visiting the podcast. She's very sweet
I only know of Norah Jones because of Conan! Thanks for expanding my horizons @ConanO'BrienNeedsAFriend
What happened to the video about Conan and Matt lactating?
Dolly is cool AF. 😊 6:45
I think I'm developing a crush on Norah, such a sweet person.
I thought she said Paul Rudd and Olive Garden lol.
Conan will never let her go the fact that Sona has shoplifted.

She’s on conans this month!
Some serious podcast crossover potential with the Dolly Parton interview! Ideally, they could record it on the USS Sequoia! #ConaNorahpodcast
Where the hell are all the likes for this "no notes" suggestion?!?
It's like all those parents used to tell us back in the day: "that Norah Jones is a bad influence on you. Just like all that other heavy metal music."
Go to the light 😂
Dolly plus my coco...yes!! My all time favorite humans period
I ❤️ Sona!
I can’t trust a person who dislikes Dolly Parton. You might not dig all her music, but to just dislike her, I will lose your number.

❤
Norah's right. Bring Dolly on. That is all.

I’ll do Nora’s podcast. I’m free I think. 4:42
Dolly is probably the most liked person on earth.
Dolly rocks❤
Gentle Blasphemy from a former catholic near (im assuming) agnostic people is always so funny, Too Many Popes!
Conan O'Brien Needs friends Podcast Musician Edition with Dolly Parton Next Month
What sane person wouldn't strike for Dolly?
I so wish Norah sang something on the podcast.
If you're thinking of having Dolly on the podcast, keep us abreast of your decision.
Lol nice pun
It would be titillating.

I didn't like it when Paul Rudd fuuuted his stepsister in that 1995 movie
Clueless? Those characters didn't share any parents.
Plz bring her, she’s my favorite American commie singer 😅
Dolly Parton is a highlander then ?
Eilish are you there?
😂
Of course Dolly is better than the Pope!
That Norah Jones, I tell you what. She's a bad influence. Look what she's done with Conan's staff
🤣😂🤣
Love the podcast.. the only thing I would ask is an occasional visit from the racist crooner ! Spectral racists crack me up for some reason !
f ant man i hatted him since that nintento commerical
Oh god please get Billie Eilish on Norah's Playing Along, and Laufey too.
Billie Eilish is a child, nty
