Finally!! have waited long for this one. I have used their brightening serum, clearing serum, retinol as beginner because 0.2% retinol+peptides, ceramide cream and brightening face wash. As of now it has worked well for me no break out no purging of skin, cleared my acne scars in four-six weeks. I was particularly interested in this brand because of the combination of their ingredients, affordable priced and % of ingredients used. Its finally reviewed by expert here. Much needed approval. Deconstruct has a tinted mineral sunscreen Dr.V would totally love. It's a tinted mineral sunscreen with SPF 50 and PA++++.

Hi Dr. V I have a question about niacinamide. I started using your Daily Range I few days ago. As I’m very pedantic, I tend to all the ingredients video that are in the product itself. I noticed that at least a few products in the nighttime routine contain niacinamide, (the micellar gel wash, super hydrating toner, and the Vera pep brightening moisturiser) but it doesn’t specify the percentage as it only specified “with key ingredients”. The reason I’m asking the percentage is that in a previous video, about niacinamide, you said that it you should be applying between 2-5 percent if I remember correctly. I’m curious, do those three products contain too much niacinamide all together in terms of the overall percentage?

Hi Dr V. Can you talk about the 500 Dalton rule when talking about molecular size of products and relating it to glycerin and hyaluronic acid and which is a superior humectant. Also another topic of interest is the golden ratio of ceramide cholesterol and fatty acids... some more information on that would be great x
I have (skin of color) acne prone, combination skin. Do you recommend using a Salicylic acid or Benzoyl peroxide cleanser? Which is more beneficial to use as a face wash, and which should I use as a serum/gel?

Higher percentage of Alpha Arbutin doesn't means effective, higher percentage can cause rebound pigmentation, irritation, dermatitis, also chemical exfoliants aren't inherently gentle than physical, they increase skin sensitivity, decrease skin resilience but they only dislodges all dead skin cells & bring them on surface, ultimately one needs manual exfoliation to remove them & one got control over physical exfoliation but there is no control over the exfoliating power of chemical exfoliants, once applied u got no control & even low percentages causes damaged barrier, comedogenicity depends on formulation, a product containing all non comedogenic ingredient can still clog pores bcz of final formulation plus comedogenic thing is tested on animals not on humans.

Hi Dr. V. I’m currently healing from an acne scar. I’ve bought a scar gel (Azally Medical Silicone Scar Gel) - in terms of layering, would you recommend that I should apply this before I apply moisturiser, as I’m aware that the moisturiser is the final stage in terms of locking everything in and stopping free radicals entering the skin. The only issue I would find if this is the case, is that it’s recommended to apply the gel 3 times a day

I have used clearing serum from this brand n its amazing n the best(5% tends to work better for me than 10).
Brightening moisturiser is also good n light weight gel.
My mom used retinol one n performance wise its good. (normal to dry mature skin.)

Can brighitin moisturize be used on oily skin??
You do a review of Neutrogena dry touch Sunscreen, it's a mineral based Sunscreen and it really works well in monsoon season as well.......doesn't feel heavy. There's really no need of using chemical sunscreens in Indian weather as well bco better options are available

I used Deconstruct Gel Sunscreen and I got skin allergy on my face and chin. After checking over the internet, I realized that cause of allergic reaction is probably because of Benzophenine 3 or Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane used in the product. I have stopped using the product and hopefully the allergy will disappear with time. Consult a Dermatologist before using these OTC products.
They have already made the colour of their Vitamin C serum brown so as that it is difficult to identify oxidisation

I have a concern about sunscreen.... I once used lotus 5 years ago it gave me rash itch and little burning sensation..... 2 years ago I used Neutrogena one and happened the same even if I washed it then I tried reequil one it suited but it was too oily then the Aqualogica one and itch rash happened.... since then I'm using no sunscreen and it is eating me 😵💫
