- This is a detailed tutorial for a starter base. It is a re imagined design of my popular started base I build back in 2019. I redesigned it using some of the new building pieces that was introduced in Wildcards Homestead update and made the build process slightly easier.

Painting
PC - Hold alt-fire (default: Right Mousebutton) and use the number keys (1-6) to select which colour regions you wish to paint

11:30 my snap point cycle doesn’t work (PS4 keyboard and mouse) do I have to use the snap point or can I line it up

I just built that today and realised this
I'm playing in mobile so I changed it a little bit
Ive always liked the way you show how to place pieces. slowly showing what to use, how to place them, speed up when placing the pieces yourself and then the look of how it should be once they are done before going on to the next set. I *LOVE* that and its greatly appreciated. specially for those of us that have to usually go back through videos cuz we got lost and try to figure out how something was done cuz we missed it. (to be more specific... me)
I really love this sort of build. I'm dotting little houses all over my single player island. These are brilliant for inspiration 😁

Your videos are such an inspiration as I build my "resort" on the Island map. Tried a few of your builds but couldn't get them to place because of terrain so I took your style and made my own stuff with your tips.
Make sure before you build this base design you make it in a flat area because the smallest incline can ruin the dino area

This is perfect for what I need in single player 💜 thank you! I’ve done a couple of your other builds on different maps & I swear of all the games I play with all the building tutorials yours are the most simple to follow, even on the more technical complicated builds.
I love following some of your builds on my single player and have dabbled on some multiplayer maps. I just did this build with a few exceptions on mobile. It’s tough to get everything to line up right and a couple of the building pieces (stairs and fence supports) are missing. I ended up using stone pipes for the supports on the front of the house where you put the supports and had to do a ladder instead of the multi tier stairs inside, but it’s still very satisfying to do something like that in block base world. I love your videos!

Honestly I wish I had this much creativity when building. And not just talking about this build but all your builds. I usually just put a wood block somewhere because I don't use much space with crafting tables.

@@ChristianWright23 This was months ago so my memory isn’t as good but I believe that I had to get on a certain angle to connect them. Sorry for not very good help. When I get home from school, I’ll test it out and see if I can figure it out and I’ll tell you

Idea to extend: at the far back behind the base in the dino pen, maybe we can add some more pillars, fence foundation, then a fence wall with wood roof ontop covering to the top of the first floor to make little flyer platform and underneath that could be like some tek para killing pen for metal so they don't escape.

I love how I got soooooo close to finishing this House, but right when I got to the Dino pen, the game just went “ Wait! You can’t do that! “

Hey Aaron, I'm starting my Aberration Journey on Aberration and the music is so synth and stuff so I was thinking... "Man I really need a Synthwave theme base" But I couldn't get any ideas of how to do that... And you are one of the greatest Ark Builder I've ever seen so maybe you can come up with some "Breathtaking" design :)

There were some times I just couldn’t change the snappoint and had to make do, sadly. Plus I built too close to something else and got a ‘cannot build here’ message halfway through the fence area, I wish these things weren’t the way they were but what can I do about it. Looks amazing, even with the modifications I was forced to make!

There are some servers that allow you to clip builds from what I've seen but you risk losing it because you know toxic people lol
Dude I love your videos because they alwasy shock people when I make your work on pvp servers I dont even get attacked lol because they think its such a nice design on that note I know you do mostly ark builds but do you think you could try some Conan Exiles builds that would be cool to see with your creativity

Im playing ark survival ascended on ps5 but i cant seem to be able to place a wooden fence foundation on top of the wooden foundation to start the pillar section, is it normal? And i dont have the option to switch to blocks? Is it a ascended problem? Is it because i play on a modded server? Help please!! TIA

On my previous comment, im talking about the part he places at 1:29, each time i try to move it with R1 or moving my angle around the block, it always goes on the bottom touching the grass.

Hey Aaron I've seen alot of your builds recently and with Gen 2 coming out I've decided to use a few but my question is are these possible without being able to fly or float? Kinda of a noob question 😂
Yes if you are building these you can either use a grappling hook or stand on top of a dino like a trike, rex, mammoth, or wyvern to reach them.

Unfortunately mods are only available on Steam not Windows 10 or Xbox

Why when I start snapping those wood fench supports it tells me requires nearby foundation support am I doing something wrong please if anyone knows

Nope it is a re design using homestead items some of the techniques used in the first build have been patched like overlapping ramps etc

so many very nice builds, but so few places to put them. The island is a miserable place to build because it's all uneven ground except for the carnivore raceways.

May I know, do you using cheat to get all resource to bulid building? How often you use cheat? I'm asking This because lately I feel guilty,sad and mess with my own feeling while deciding my gameplay experience. I found myself can't stop cheating after knowing the cheat code on ark. It ruin my experience on my beloved game. Hmm
