As a Fallout 76 camp builder I must say the building system in this game looks fantastic and the result is great. I'll have to try this game out for myself.
I tend to always have a big farm next to my starter base and just expand around it. My starter home ends up being some sort of shed in the end. I can't WAIT to get my hands on this game. I only discovered you with Starfield videos and now that I know you also play Ark I think I will stick around for a while!

I’ve got a subpar CPU so I’m not sure if I should pick this title up. I usually play solo or with my wife, so some issues won’t be mine but I’ve heard about this game having some serious problems. I love your build, thanks for showing me some of what can be done in ASA! Subbed.

Is there really any major difference from building starter base in ark ascendant then there is an ark evolved other than the visual aesthetics there's no major mechanics that make it any different other 🤔

@@CurtisBuildshey I've got a similar setup but just a worse cpu. Are you able to let me know if your game is using your cpu a lot? I'm getting noticeably worse performance for the same setup with a 5800x.
Why would they get rid of stacking walls? Thats a core part of building. It would be like removing the ability to place crafting stations on foundations or removing snap points for ceilings.
@@CurtisBuilds no not stacking walls vertically stacking or rlly layering is a better word for it but ppl call it stacking is like snapping one wall over another wall and you could do it how ever many times you wanted for pvp. So your 1 wall would equal like 10 walls
@@somethingwithat5787 I’m talkin ab layering the walls for pvp. Not placing one wall on top of another. Layering is a better term imo but ark community calls it stacking you’d essentially have the equivalent of 10 walls per wall for protecting your base for pvp
@@somethingwithat5787 it was never an intentional feature it was a building system exploit which is why I imagine they’d get rid of it. I also seen they nerfed C4 tho. Metal foundations take 17 and tek takes 77 to destroy 😳 which is kinda crazy tbh
Actually quite a lot has changed, some good quality of life improvements have been made. Definitely different and the buildings look different too which is great

Try disabling the transition from inventory in the UI menu. I was having the same issue and it hasn't crashed since.

Im on Ps5 and i cant seem to get my Doors to attach to snap points. Any suggestions? Ive tried adding ceiling and outdoor ramps and have no luck.

Yes you can, in the process of building a Dino Pen :)
